Kettle Moraine Field Archery League

Kettle Moraine Field Archery League The Kettle Moraine Field Archery League was founded in 1948 by Clai Spaulding of Oconomowoc. It is It is made up of clubs within a 75 mile radius of Eagle, WI.

The object of the KMFAL or KM, is to improve, advance, and protect the interest of archery as a competitive sport. All members of member clubs are therfore members of the KM and are eligible to receive 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place awards. In 1953 Clai Spaulding decided there should be a special award given to an archer who promoted archery well above the norm. The first Silver Arrow was given to Dutch Henning in 1956. This started the Silver Arrow Club, an organization of people who are interested in promoting archery within the KM. Each year clubs in the KM are asked to submit names of people who have done outstanding work in the KM. The Silver Arrow selects a new member from these nominees.

5% of the shooting fees go to the Silver Arrow to promote archery in the KM. Before his death, Clai donated a gift to start the archery museum at the West Allis Bowmen Club. It has a list of Silver Arrow members and many early archery historical items.

🤝❤️ International Day of Charity ❤️🤝

At Buck Trail Archers, we believe that charity isn’t just about giving—it’s about building a stronger community through kindness, generosity, and helping one another.

Whether it’s volunteering at an event, lending a hand to a fellow archer, supporting local causes, or simply sharing a smile, every act of kindness makes a difference.

Our club is built on the dedication of members and volunteers who give their time and talents to keep Buck Trail Archers a place where everyone feels welcome. We are grateful for each and every one of you!

Today, we encourage everyone to:
❤️ Perform one random act of kindness.
🤝 Help someone in need.
🏹 Support your local community.
🌲 Leave the world a little better than you found it.

What’s one way you’ve given back or experienced kindness recently? Share your story in the comments—we’d love to hear it!

Together, we can make a difference, one kind act at a time.
