The Lake Geneva YMCA Ducks are incredibly proud to announce that Hunter McKittrick is representing our Ducks at the TYR Futures Championships in Madison WI this weekend. This is a National level meet. The highest level of competition from around the country.

Hunter has shown that hard work and dedication pays off. Congratulations to him, his family and his coaches, especially head coach Michelle Upchurch.

Hunter has 5 events this weekend and is off to an amazing start, making a final in the 50 fly.
He also set a PR already in his 100 free. With the 50 back, 100 fly and 50 free to come still.

Good luck Hunter from all of us at the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA and your teammates and supporters from the Ducks swim team.

Congratulations to Steeler Whowell, Will Larkin, Hunter McKittrick and Colton Clark on an improbable run in the 400 Medlay Relay at YMCA Nationals in Greensboro NC.
Seeded 32nd, took 16th to grab the last spot in finals and then moved up again to take 13th in the country.

And that is a wrap on the 2025 Party Under the Sea Swim-a-thon! We can't thank our Duck families and all their family and friends enough as they were awesome donors. Our team is blessed by the ongoing support we have.

We had a lot of help on the back end too! Thank you to all our Duck parents who helped from the planning stage, getting prize donations, and helped carry out the swimathon night. Thank you to the local businesses that continue to support us; Gordy's Boathouse, Timber Ridge Waterpark, Best Bargains, Delavan Lanes, Salt & Kai, and Clearwater Outdoor Sports.

We wish all our Ducks good luck as they approach their final stretch of competitions for short course season.

The Ducks annual Swim-a-thon has started! If you know a Duck and would like to donate please follow the simple instructions below, or please feel free to donate to the team as a whole.

What is a Swim-a-thon you may ask? Well this is when our Ducks raise funds that will go directly back to the team. All the money brought in helps buy equipment, team shirts, team caps, team experiences and so much more! On February 7th each Duck will swim up to 200 laps (that's 5000 yards!!) in honor of their donations. Family, friends and donors are welcome to come watch and cheer them on at the YMCA pool side. This year's theme is Party Under The Sea.

Last weekend at High School Sectionals Olivia achieved the cut time.
(Along with making WI High School State. Stay tuned for post on that)

For those of you wondering what those National cut times look like, I’ve attached the cut time sheet.
There is no age distinction. To make the National cut, your time has to be at or under the times below, no matter age.

YMCA Nationals take place after State in early April out in Greensboro NC.
