🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟
This weekend, Spectrum Dance Center will take the stage at the Inland Empire Dance Festival IE Contemporary Ballet alongside the incredible Jazz Spectrum Dance Compan Jazz Spectrum Dance Company, and other remarkable dance companies from throughout Southern California! 🎉
Our Artistic Director, Janell Burgess Janell Burgess, has been a proud part of the Inland Empire Dance Festival since 2021, and we can’t wait to showcase
the talent and passion of our dancers.
Join us as we present “Once in Love,” a beautiful lyrical jazz piece choreographed by Janell Burgess and Ace Austria. The piece opens with a solo will be performed by Ace Austria Rafael Austria, educator from Spectrum Dance Center, set to the sounds of Baynks & Maroon 5. The piece beautifully captures the bittersweet memories of being in love, and we are thrilled to share it with you all.

🎶✨ Exciting Announcement! ✨🎶
This Saturday at 6 PM, the Jazz Spectrum Dance Company will take the stage at the Inland Empire Dance Festival IE Contemporary Ballet, hosted and produced by the incredible Jamie Sachs Jamie Azpeitia-Sachs, founder and director of the Inland Empire Dance Center!

We’re thrilled to present our abridged version of the captivating piece, “Syncopated Style”, featuring our talented Artistic Director, Janell Burgess Janell Burgess and the amazing Kiara Kinghorn Kiara Kinghorn (BFA, MFA)!
This crowd-pleasing work, with original choreography by Christine Baltes, promises to dazzle with its signature combination of bowler hats and red gloves, danced with precision and flair.

We’re thrilled to celebrate Marilia Bertini Marilia Bertini for completing her first 90 days of dance!
In such a short time, this lovely and dedicated dancer has already joined a third weekly Ballet technique class and is inspired to go en pointe! 🩰

On Monday, August 24, we had the joy of celebrating
the birthday of our beloved educator, Ms. Maria Sifuentes, during her 5:30 PM Ballet Fundamentals class! 🩰✨ Following the class, we continued the festivities with a lovely dinner at El Ranchito, Lake Forest!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate Ms. Maria, showering her with gifts, flowers, and an abundance of love. Your presence made the day truly special! 🎂🎁🌹

🌟Celebrating 90 Days of Dance with Max Lubaski!🌟

I am so proud to share that my amazing teen student, Max, has just completed 90 days of dancing
at Spectrum Dance Center! 🎉
Often referred to as my “kid brother,” Max brings
such a fun and playful attitude to every class,
making him an absolute joy to work with.
His enthusiasm and dedication shine through
as he consistently arrives early to the studio
to practice and improve his skills.
Starting from scratch just three months ago,
Max has already demonstrated tremendous growth
in his capabilities.
I truly can’t wait to see where his dance journey
takes him next.

This past Saturday, August 22, 2026,
our talented dancer, Noelle Volkmann Noelle Volkmann
showcased her incredible belly dance skills at the Santa Ana World Bazaar held at the OC Heritage Museum as part of a vibrant cultural festival! 🌍✨
Performing her first solo belly dance choreographed by our very own Ms. Iris Z. Spector Iris Z Spector,
Noelle wowed the audience, with Ms. Iris playing beautiful accompaniment on the Zils!🎶
We are incredibly proud of Noelle for representing
the Spectrum Dance Center and bringing the magic of dance to life!
A huge thank you to fellow SDC and Jazz Spectrum Dance Company Jazz Spectrum Dance Company & NBDT Nannette Brodie Dance Theatre member, Erica Villalpando, for attending and cheering her on.

Today, we celebrate not just another year around the sun for our incredible ballet educator, but the countless lives he has inspired here at Spectrum Dance Center!🕺🩰✨ We are beyond blessed to have you as part of our dance family!
Mr. Michel currently teaches on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and we’re excited to announce
that he’ll be adding a Thursday night class at 6:30 PM!

On Thursday night, August 13th we showcased
the stunning choreography of our very own SDC Educator, Ms. Iris Z. Spector Iris Z Spector in a beautiful Latin fusion belly dance piece.
Our talented dancers, Christina, Noelle, & Janice
lit up the stage at the Loose Cannons Loose Cannons Events event, produced by the fabulous Bailey Altstaetter Bailey Jade Altstaetter and hosted by our very own hip-hop and jazz funk instructor, Mr. Ryan Hill Ryan Hill ✨
SDC’s Belly Dance performance was a blend of beauty, class, and undeniable flair that captivated the audience! 💃✨
