This week has been unbelievably stressful. The emotions of closing down my fitness studio the accolades from people whose lives we've changed. The stress of figuring how to continue on with what I want without being pulled into what other people want me to do. The eagerness and excitement I have with my new project connecting trainers and clients. The satisfaction and relief of Jesse setting up an in home training studio so I can have better work/life balance (thank you Zeena Dhalla for the idea and inspiration) the heartache knowing there are people I just won't be able to train or work with anymore. The disappointment that a trainer I entrusted with one of my clients with already injured them. Letting go of my ego that I can't take care of everyone and fix everyone as much as I'd like to because my kids need me first and foremost. Stamping down the same ego when greeted with tears and "what am I going to do without you". Elation knowing that I was successful, that I did it my way, with a little bit of class intelligence and a lot of integrity and that im closing on my terms and nobody else's. I knew last September it was time to focus on my family and put training in the back seat and it's been a long way to closing down with a million pieces that need to fall into place, making sure each of my clients have a place to train that process will continue over the coming weeks. Because my passion is helping people connect to fitness and health in a meaningful way in a way they can identify with it, connect to their body and begin to love movement. There are many more things coming up but the day to day connections I will miss immensely.
It's actually taken me all day to write this I've stopped and started written and erased. But as I scroll thru the 3,000 picture in my phone my heart is instantly lifted my anxiety melted there are very few pictures of my clients very few of the studio or my trainers. There are however thousands of three of the most precious things in my life, they're my why they're my driving force. I am so happy to give them these years because I know they'll be over too quickly and I'll never get them back. So I'll happily go from 40 hrs of changing lives to 24/7 of impacting the only 3 that matter in the long run. Thank you to everyone who has made an impact on me and my trainers. Thank you to Dominique Brian Renee maybelline Kristy Julie and Steve who have helped me over the years bring my vision to life. Thank you to Dr Brent Smih, Dr Jeff Paulson. Drs. Palmer, Dr Damian, Dr Dustin Glass , Dr Pascious, Dr Thom, Dr Vienuto and the numerous other therapists and physicians who have entrusted me with their patients over the years. And most importantly thank you to all of the clients who have entrusted me with their broken bodies to put them back together, entrusted me with their broken spirits to let me lead them to a happier healthier place. I won't say good bye I will say, until we meet again.
