Coach's hips are healed, so we are back in the tournament game!!
Our 3 kiddos did great at Grappling X today! Olivia got 🥇, Jonathan was robbed in the finals with a bad call and got 🥈.
This was Kaylie's first tournament and she fought hard!
Shout out to all the teammates and fams who came out and supported!! 💕

You know it's a hard day when your 9 matches and 5 submissions gets you 🥉🥉. This is first tournament as a purple belt, and one small mistake in each division cost him the golds!
We had three first time kids competitors today. They came out and fought hard, but tournaments are tough! Our Kids Team left with 1🥇, 1🥈 and 1🥉.
Next tournament in 3 weeks!

Just realized I never posted this!!! and received their purple belts back in November! Danny is our youngest purple belt and a complete savage competitor! Geo has had a blue belt for numerous years. Life gets in the way of his jiu jitsu training, but instead of quitting, he still makes sure to get in when he can!

We brought a few new faces to JJWL Pan Americans this weekend!
Our Adults won 1🥇, 1🥈 and 1🥉 and our Kids won 1🥈and 1🥉.
Sometimes you train hard and you fight hard but unfortunately you don't always come out on top. We are excited for our new competitors and they are anxiously awaiting the next tournament!

Tournament training gone wild!!! We've got our first hole in our wall, y'all! I'm actually surprised it's taken this long.
Also, Carlos and Danny want me to mention that Danny got flipped, and his heel made the hole! 🤣
