H17 comes in hot, slams tiller over fast while turning boat head to wind. Assumes parking position next to Red H16.

Our Hobie Fleet 30 holiday party went very well. No wind though, so we spent the day visiting, eating great food and hanging out around the bonfire. It was a great crowd.
Tom La Beau gave a great speech honoring our Commodore, Chayne Lesley. The Fleet showed our appreciation for all the hard work he has done. And of course we had to give his wife, Brynne, a gift certificate for Murrays. She is always there. It seems when we need help.

1983 donated to us by a very cool old school Inland Empire Hobie Fleet 30 guy, when it was fleet 30 riverside. Been sitting in the yard for almost a year. Beeen building it all day. Dave Gilbert, thank you for the boat as the kids are all wanting to claim it. This will be a great boat for our new sailors to take and learn to sail. More pictures to come as we work out the kinks and get the sails up. Talon, Gage, Logan, Kayla, Elise, Journey, this is the boat you can take and not worry about flipping or breaking it, maybe even race it.

Arrowhead 20th annual Hobie regatta. Had a decent day although we came in after the first race. My son Gage did real good considering he has never been on my new 16 and learning
to crew. Smoke and lightning kind of screwed us due to the Line fire creeping up on us. What a sh*tshow! Weekend was great till got an evacuation notice at 11 pm last night. Spent the last 5 hours evacuating the family and getting them outta here and then coming all the way back so I can get the boat that is sitting on the beach at the yacht club. Looks like it’s gonna be a 48hr run with a couple hours sleep. We will see what happens🤦‍♂️⛵️🤨
