Lights were a little too bright for the Lake w as we fell to the Morries tonight 11-0 giving up only a few hits and 7-9 errors if not more. We didn’t bring our bats along with a stellar pitching performance by Alec Gratz of the Morries. Striking us out 10 times only giving up 2 hits, 3 BB 1 HBP.

Kyle Jones goes 5 2/3, 3 earned, 4 Ks.

Braeden Smook and Kolten Barker with our only knocks.

Was a fun and hot series and greatly appreciated Joe Grose and the Waterville Indians for hosting us. Always a treat playing at the W***y.

🚨Game 3 Tie breaker is tonight!

Lakers head back to the W***y for the Tiebreaker vs Morristown. Winner goes on to Regions, loser goes home.

7:30 first Pitch.

Lakers got 10 runned by the Morries in game 2 15-5. Too many errors and too many bombs given up. Game 3 is Tuesday back in Waterville 7:30 start as we try to punch our ticket into regions.

Lakers win their first playoff game ever today beating Morristown 7-5. Braeden Smook started and went 6 innings giving up the 5 runs. Jude Etter threw 3 scoreless to finish it off. Was a tie ballgame going into the top of the 9th 2 outs when Donovan Daly hit a soft single to plate two. Lakers close the bottom of the 9th with a double play to seal it. We’re back tomorrow same place (Waterville) same time (noon start) same opponent (Morristown) to try to win the 3 game series and punch our ticket into the Regional playoff bracket.

The Lakers come in as the 9 seed in the region 5c tournament! We start this weekend in a “best of 3” play in tournament ...

The Lakers come in as the 9 seed in the region 5c tournament! We start this weekend in a “best of 3” play in tournament to enter the region bracket. First game is this Saturday the 26th in Waterville as we play the Morristown Morries. Noon first pitch so come on out to a beautiful ball park, enjoy some cold beverages and a hot dog and watch some amateur baseball!

Lakers held a 3-3 game into the top of the 8th and blew it losing 12-3 to Morristown

So cool to finally play under the lights in LC, been a long time coming.

Tonight, after the Legion game, the Lakers will host their inaugural “under the lights” game at Collis field after getting lights installed this Spring.

We’re set for a 7:30 first pitch after the Legion game as we take on the Morristown Morries.
