LAST CALL FOR OUR COUPLES SUNDOWNER TOURNAMENT, AUGUST 1

Our next Couples Sundowner Tournament is this Saturday at 3 pm. The tournament will be 18 holes instead of our usual 9 holes.

This event is open to members and non-members, and it's designed to introduce more ladies to the game in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Skill level doesn't matter—we'll have special forward tees for beginner and novice lady golfers, so everyone can enjoy the day.

This is an 18-hole, 4-person Captain's Choice, with each team made up of two couples. Whether you're experienced golfers or just looking for a fun afternoon together, this tournament is all about enjoying great company, plenty of laughs, and making memories.

Yes, it's summertime in South Carolina, and it will probably be a little warm and sticky. Just pack a cooler with your favorite adult beverage, plenty of water or sports drinks, and come enjoy an afternoon of golf with friends.

We are excited that our LCCC Invitational is back on its traditional weekend, July 18-19. We still have room for a few more teams, so if you've been on the fence about playing, there's still time to enter. The entry deadline is Sunday at 6:00 PM.

Cally Bell is our defending Champion.

Tee times are required.
The course will be open for regular play.

Saturday, July 18 & Sunday, July 19

The golf course will be closed to everyone except Invitational participants during the tournament.

Sunday Afternoon

The course will reopen after the tournament field has teed off, approximately 2:30 PM.

Please note that golf cart availability may be limited.

East-West Belt Buckle Challenge Standings

With just four tournaments remaining on the 2026 schedule, the race for a spot in the 4th Annual East-West Belt Buckle Challenge is beginning to take shape.

But don't think the teams are set just yet!

There are still plenty of points available, and the LCCC Invitational is the perfect opportunity to make a move. As the highest point-earning tournament of the season, a strong finish there could vault you onto your respective team or improve your position.

Red, White & Blue Golf Tournament Results

Despite the summer heat, 30 golfers teed it up this past Saturday for our 4th Annual Red, White & Blue Golf Tournament.

One player proved he was even hotter than the weather.

Bubby Franks fired a blistering 3-under-par 69 to capture Medalist honors by four shots. His outstanding round featured four birdies with just one bogey, coming on the 13th hole.

Gross Division Winners

1. Bubby Franks – 69
2. Landon Crosby – 74
3. Jim Ramsey – 75
4. Landon Powell – 78
5. Jared McGee – 80

The Net Division was just as competitive, with 75% of each player's GHIN Handicap being used. David Ward set the pace with an excellent net 69. Ironically, his actual score of 74 would have also been good enough for second place in the Gross Division.

3. Roger Tisdale – 77-7 = 70
4. Ronnie Baker – 84-14 = 70
5. Joe Lee – 81-7 = 74

Ties were broken using the back-nine scorecard as the playoff.

We also had a skins game Saturday. Six skins were won during the round:

CART PATH ONLY STARTING THIS MORNING (7/6)

Due to the heavy rain we received yesterday afternoon, we are starting this morning on Cart Path Only.

Due to the dry conditions before the rain, it is soaking in quickly. We can remove the restrictions on some holes as the day progresses.

As always, please watch for wet spots and avoid driving your carts through them.
