Meet John! John wrote the book on tough love - he will push you to your limits in the gym but would give you the shirt off his back. One super cool thing about John is that he had spinal fusion and still lifts like a total badass - with proper form and technique there’s no previous injury that can hold you back from lifting. It’s a great tool for working with and preventing shoulder pain - the gentle curve of the bar allows you to rest the bar lower AND makes it easier to keep your elbows under the bar for a stable lift. An expert in muscle function; functional training; nervous system balance; and gym playlists - he is the backbone of our gym (and the owner). Toby challenges us all to use our natural mechanics to our advantage and prioritizes safety over everything. The first person to celebrate any of your accomplishments. Swing arm power racks, competition bars, specialty bars, strong man equipment, outdoor sleds, bands, chains, etc! Come drop by during a group meeting at 5am, 6am, 3pm, or 5pm.
