🥈 11U Tigers take 2nd Place in ZVBL Tournament!

What a way to wrap up the Zumbro Valley Baseball League season! The Lake City 11U Tigers battled their way to a second-place finish after an incredible (and hot!) day of baseball yesterday.

The Tigers opened the tournament with a thrilling 5-4 victory over Randolph in seven innings, then turned around and made a statement with a 15-1 win over Stewartville in the semifinals. They capped off the day with a hard-fought championship game against Zumbrota, coming up just short in a 5-4 walk-off finish.

This team showed grit, resilience, and the kind of fight that made Lake City proud all season long. Congratulations to these players and coaches on an outstanding tournament run and a fantastic ZVBL season! 🧡🖤⚾️

🥉 Way to go, Lake City 8U Black!

Congratulations to our Lake City 8U Black team on earning 3rd Place at the Zumbro Valley Baseball League End-of-Season Tournament!

These young Tigers played with hustle, determination, and heart all season long, and it all came together with a fantastic tournament finish. We’re so proud of the growth they’ve shown, the memories they’ve made, and the way they represented Lake City every time they took the field.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on a great season. Keep having fun, working hard, and loving the game! 🧡🖤⚾️

What a way to cap off an outstanding Metro Baseball League season, Lake City Tigers 12U AA!!

Last night, the Tigers earned the Metro Baseball League Playoff Championship in their bracket, adding another exciting accomplishment to an already memorable summer.

This team has played with confidence, resilience, and a true team-first mentality all season long. They’ve embraced every challenge, come through in big moments, and continued to grow together with every game.

Congratulations to our players, coaches, and families on a fantastic Metro League season and a well-earned playoff championship!

Want to see these boys in action? Lake City is proud to host the Zumbro Valley Baseball League 12U End-of-Season Tournament this weekend at Bluff View. Come cheer on the Tigers as they look to keep the momentum going on their home field!

🏆 Back-to-Back Champions! 🏆

Congratulations to the Lake City 13U Tigers on becoming Zumbro Valley Baseball League Champions for the second year in a row!

The Tigers entered Saturday’s tournament in Zumbrota-Mazeppa as the No. 2 seed and put together an impressive championship run. They opened with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Kasson-Mantorville, followed it up with a 7-4 win over Goodhue, and then capped off the day with a 12-7 championship victory over top-seeded Zumbrota-Mazeppa.

Going back-to-back is no easy feat, and this group earned every bit of it through determination, teamwork, and grit.

Congratulations to the players and coaches on another outstanding season and bringing the championship trophy back to Lake City! ⚾🧡🖤

🏆 Zumbro Valley Baseball League CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Our Lake City 14/15U AA team capped off an incredible season by winning the ZVBL End-of-Season Tournament on Sunday in Hayfield.

In a championship game they won’t soon forget, the Tigers battled back to defeat Kasson-Mantorville 8-7 on a walk-off in the final inning. A thrilling finish and a well-earned title for a group of young men who have spent years growing, competing, and making memories together.

For many of these players, this team has been together for years. They’ve grown as athletes, competed together, and created countless memories along the way.

As this group moves on to Legion Baseball next season, this championship also marks the end of an era with coaches Jordan Schumacher and Dan Lafferty, who have coached many of these players since 9U. What a fitting way to close out that journey together.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on an outstanding season and a well-deserved championship! ⚾️🧡🖤

Concession Stand Volunteers Needed – Final 3 Days of the Season!

We need your help for the last three days that our concession stand will be open this season. If you haven't had a chance to volunteer yet, please consider signing up for at least one shift.

With over 100 families in our association, every volunteer makes a difference. Working a concession stand shift is one of the ways we keep costs low for all families while supporting our bowling programs and events.

Students in grades 7–12 are also welcome to volunteer and can earn community service hours for their time.

Thank you for giving a little of your time to help make our season a success. We truly appreciate your support and hope you'll consider signing up for a shift!

That’s a wrap on another great Waterski Days parade.

Thank you so very much to all of the volunteers that help us pull it off.

We went through over a 100 lbs of candy and about 1000 pairs of shades.
