The consumers that grew up in the information age represent a very unique and difficult to reach market. They (if you're on this website there's a good chance the appropriate pronoun here is "you" as opposed to "they") are conditioned to ignore prices advertised on TV or radio commercials or billboards, or catchy slogans touting the best service after the sale. We at Lake Charles Toyota believe that the best way to reach a specific market of consumers is to connect with them on their terms. Scion eSports is an example of that philosophy... Giving a generation of gamers what they want: Games. We have been producing gaming events in this area since 2011. From shooters, to strategy, to fighting, to MOBAs, we've dabbled in everything. We always do our best to put everything we have into each event we produce. We want people to feel like they're at a world class event, we want to bring a MLG or WCS or LCS atmosphere right here to our community. We're not perfect, but we are sincere in that desire. Games are what we love, and we feel that with Scion eSports we've found a great way to connect with our community, and our potential customers. And we try to do it all for free (unless we're trying to help raise money for a charity.) At every Scion eSports event we make one sales pitch. We call it the "we also sell cars" speech. Our only request is that when you have any automotive need, whether it be sales or service, domestic or foreign, you remember us, and give us a chance to do business with you! That way we can make enough money to keep producing awesome gaming events.

Tomorrow Gohe### is Gaming will begin the Dead by Daylight "Killing Trials" tourney. A few last minute things to help u prepare:

- this event has a 2pm start time. No one has contested this, so this will be final
- no killers or survivors are banned as of now unless info leads me to the contrary
- feel free to bring ur own pc, xbox, ps5 etc if you’d prefer to use ur own setup. We have 5 Xboxes all ready to play on, but no dlc killers/ survivors. My account is on all of them if u have a preferred dlc you use
- Xbox can use mouse and keyboard if u prefer that over controller, so feel free to bring that if you want
- this will be streamed/ spectated by me, but the killer will be seperate from survivor table with noise cancelling headphones. Players are allowed to bring their own for this as well, but we will have some provided if not. This is an attempt to keep information from both sides separate to make this as fair as possible with allotted space
- we will be using LAN setup on fiber network to optimize latency for ALL players
- no maps, keys, or moris allowed (-1 point for killing players before 3rd hook)
- I will be making one sweep of all players’ loadouts to ensure no one is using iridescent or very rare add ons or items before match start, AND to check that all players are only using character specific perks x3 (and 1 generic perk)
- players must use unique survivors from one another (no duplicate survivor)
- each killer will be given 2 total rounds to optimize their score. Once at the start and another after the other killers have had their turn
- killer scores will be broken down accordingly:
*number of total hooks by match end
*additional scores for hooking all unique survivors once, twice, and three times (4,8, and 12 bonus score). This method will double a killers score for a perfect game
* number of generators left un repaired will help decide ties, then sacrifice scoring after that
*if all scoring is somehow matched across the board, 1 more round will be given for the tied killers

Tomorrow we continue our Decathlon Series founded by Scion Esports and hosted by Game2Life! At 2pm we go LIVE with Dead by Daylight: Killing Trials! This will be a first for the local tournament scene to see an asymmetrical horror game in competitive format, so plz tune in and enjoy the killing!

The Founders Podcast returns Monday night (5/19), with The Decathlon as the main item on the agenda. We'll discuss what we're tying to do, why we're trying to do it, and take your questions about it. We're moving from a one hour, once per week format to a two hour, once per month format with Season Two. Fits our schedules better, and gives us more time to dig deeper into fewer topics, which we think we will enjoy more.
