Literally NOTHING will have me tune someone out faster than “We all have the same 24 hours in a day.”

I had to do some box breathing yesterday when one of my favorite authors dropped this line on a podcast. Because while the hours may be the same, the LIFE inside them is not.
When I left the network marketing girl gang and landed on all-male sales teams, I was closing deals between potty training, 5 therapy appointments a week for my youngest, carpool, homework, and making sure everyone had clean underwear and enough to eat.
My 24 hours looked nothing like Sam’s, who was DJing at night and closing by day. Or Jennifer’s, fresh out of college, living at the beach with her startup founder boyfriend.

But here’s the thing about having a reason that runs deeper than designer bags and escaping a cubicle: it makes every single minute count.

So I did what I did as a teacher. I studied. I observed. I trained. I practiced. I refined. Until I built a way of selling that actually worked WITH my biology, my values, and my life. And got killer results without burning me out or making me feel like someone I wasn’t.

I built Amplify Academy for the woman who knows she was made for more. For the woman who wants a way to work from home that doesn’t ask her to choose between her potential and her family.

I built it for you.

Now we’ve built more than a framework. Together, we’ve built a community and a movement of women who refuse to shrink, settle, or sell out. And there’s a seat here with your name on it.

$400 at the grocery store used to feel like a failure I caused...

Like I had done something wrong, even though I had a cart full of the basics and four kids who eat constantly. I was a teacher. I was doing everything I was told to do. And I was standing in a parking lot doing math I couldn’t make work.

I didn’t want some big complicated plan. I wanted $800 a week. That was it. That was our grocery bill, give or take, and if I could just cover that number with something flexible, something I could do around my kids, I could breathe again.

A famous influencer I found online needed someone to help answer DMs and get people booked onto their calendar. No experience required. No degree. No content. Just consistency and a phone. I started during carpool, kept going during nap time, and finished two hours after bedtime. Within a few weeks I was making $3,200 a month. I still do the grocery run every Tuesday. It just doesn’t feel like a math problem anymore.

Every summer I picked up shifts to make it work. Waitressing, bartending, tutoring on the side. I was resourceful but I was stuck on a treadmill I didn’t even realize I was on.

If you’re a teacher already mapping out your summer hustle, I want you to see a different option before you commit to another season of trading time for dollars.

There was a version of my life I refused to live...

I told my husband there wasn’t a version of our life where we both worked full-time jobs and paid someone else to raise our kids. The math didn’t even work. Four kids in daycare would have eaten almost everything I brought home as a teacher. And I was already burnt out. Already googling “how to make money from home” during my lunch break like it was something to be ashamed of.

I didn’t know what I was looking for. I just knew what I didn’t want. I didn’t want to sell anything to my friends. I didn’t want to post my babies online to build an audience. I didn’t want to go back to school or start a business from scratch. I wanted something real that didn’t require me to choose between my kids and a career.

Remote sales was the thing I didn’t know I was looking for. Answering DMs, booking calls, sending messages for a famous influencer who needed help running the back end of their business. I did it during carpool, nap time, and two hours after bedtime. Nobody saw my face. Nobody knew my name. I just did the work and got paid for it. That was three years ago. I tripled my teaching salary and I have never once sat in an office to do it.

She left teaching to stay home with her kids, and she loved being home. But somewhere between teaching, postpartum, and years of just being “mom,” she said she felt like a dimmer version of herself. Still her. Just quieter.

Fast forward 90 days into Amplify and she’s got two placements, money in the bank for her kids summer activities, trips booked to see her family without a second thought, and a husband who’s watching her come back to life right in front of him.

She said it best: “I’m a better wife. I’m a better mom. Even for myself, I’m like, maybe I should get back to the gym, let me cook something healthy… I just got that spark back.”

That’s the part people don’t talk about enough. It’s not just the income. It’s becoming yourself again.

I sat in the carpool line one afternoon and did math I couldn’t make work....

Our grocery bill for a family of 6 was running close to $800 a week. Not a vacation. Not some big dream. Just food. And I was a teacher, doing the thing I thought I was supposed to do, and I could not figure out how to make that number less terrifying.

I didn’t want to sell skincare. I didn’t want to “build my personal brand.” I didn’t want to go back to school or pick up a second job that required hard pants and a commute. I just wanted something real I could do from my couch, around my kids, that actually paid well.

That’s when I found remote sales — specifically answering DMs, booking calls, and sending messages for 7-figure brands and influencers who don’t have time to do it themselves. No degree. No audience. No camera if you don’t want one. Just a skill, a phone, and a very specific goal. I made $3,433 in March. Nobody knew my name. And the grocery bill stopped being a number I dreaded.
