BME Editor search.
We are looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our post-production team. You cut and assemble recorded footage and audio, adding title and motion graphics that you create according to project style requirements. You may work independently or on a team depending on the size of the project, using your honed communication skills to work effectively with the director and producers. Candidates should be familiar with video editing software, including Final Cut, Avid, and Adobe Products such as Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. A bachelor’s degree in production or a similar field and previous experience is strongly preferred. Please submit your demo reel when you apply for this role.
Video Editor Duties and Responsibilities
Cut and assemble recorded footage and audio
Create title and motion graphics
Format images to use in videos and perform color corrections
Edit audio tracks as needed
Follow production deadlines
Video Editor Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in video production, film, or a related field is strongly preferred
Experience with Adobe products, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Experience with Final Cut or similar editing software, such as Avid
Ability to perform duties independently or on a post-production team
Graphic design skills
Attention to detail
Time management skills
