Final Day of mini dance camp went off without a hitch!! I’m so proud of our Tigerettes and our mini dancers!! They all worked so hard this week and had tons of fun while doing it! Thank you to all the parents who trust with their littles and as always, thank you for supporting your LAHS Tigerettes!! Next on deck…FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!!

Team Routine Evaluations

NDA Camp 2024 is in the books!! This team y’all, they’re special to say the least!! My dancers embraced every challenge, pushed themselves past their limits, step outside of their comfort zones and more than exceeded my expectations!! They killed it at camp this week and I’m incredibly proud of all of them!! My 3 managers are the bomb too y’all!! No other team brings managers to camp but we DO!! They’re a part of our team and we always want them with us!! They go above and beyond for not only me but also for their teammates!! I never have to ask them to do anything, they’re on top of it and most of the time are doing things for us before we can even ask!! I appreciate them more than they probably even know!!

Every year, with every team, before we go to camp I stress to them that we don’t go to camp for awards or recognitions! We go for the experience, the knowledge and just the quality time we get to spend as a team before the start of our new season. All I expect of them is that they open themselves up to one another and spend the time to bond with every member of their team; to do their best in the different classes they go to and to push themselves beyond what is comfortable and to work hard!! Well this team did that and more…so let me brag for me a minute!!

15 blue ribbons for “Style Routine” evaluations (routines they learn at camp)
5 red ribbons for “Style Routine” evaluations
Superior Rating (highest rating) & bid to Nationals for our Home Routine
Superior Rating for Team Routine (routine learned as a team at camp)
Overall Gold Award (highest award) for Team Routine
Overall Technical Excellence Award
Laylla McDaniel was selected to the All-American team
Jalea Prudhomme was the awarded the Top All-American Award of the whole camp
