๐Ÿ“ฃ Attention Players & Parents

(A Word of Advice)

June is not AAU time. Let me say that again: June is not for AAU.

If your child is in high school, or entering 9th grade, they should be in the high school gym. This is when high school programs start shaping their teams. June is about:

๐Ÿ€ Team workouts
๐Ÿ€ Summer leagues
๐Ÿ€ Building chemistry
๐Ÿ€ Getting better under the guidance of the high school coach

Tryouts donโ€™t start in the fall, they start now.

So when November comes and your child says, โ€œIt wasnโ€™t fair, I didnโ€™t get a chance,โ€ remember this message. June is when you earn your shot. Coaches notice who shows up, who puts in the work, and who commits.

If your child is playing AAU in June, thatโ€™s your choice, but just donโ€™t say it wasnโ€™t fair later.
