Hello! My name is Erin, and my dad, Mark, and I are hoping to join a team for the swim! My parents did the swim back in 1997 and it's always held fond memories. Today we are both regular swimmers living in the SF Bay Area. This picture is from a local open water tradition, the Keller Cove Swim for Kids Sake.
We are hoping to join or form a team of swimmers with similar levels of skill and ambition - we are both recreational swimmers, not slow but not super fast either, probably averaging 30 min/mile. I am 27 and my dad is 67, so joining with other folks along the age spectrum would be great! Our goals for the event are to appreciate being in a beautiful place, meet good people, challenge ourselves physically, and overall have a good time.
