Huskies win! UConn pulls away from Maui Invitational host Chaminade. Jalen Adams finished with a double-double (25 points, 11 assists and had 9 rebounds) to lead the Huskies to a 93-82 victory!

UConn takes the L again in a 64-61 loss to Northeastern to start the 2016-17 season at 0-2. They look to get their first win of the season on Thursday on the road at Loyola Marymount.

Williams scored 20 points and Northeastern upset UConn 64-61 on Monday, the team's first win against Connecticut since Jim Calhoun was coaching the Huskies from Boston Donnell Gresham Jr. added 13 points for Northeastern (2-0) and Alex Murphy had nine points and 15 rebounds. Wagner upsets #18 UConn in season opener. It was the first opening loss since 11/11/1999 when Iowa beat the Huskies 70-68 in the Coaches vs. Cancer IKON Classic at Madison Square Garden. There was a few bright spots in the game in Terry Larrier (19 points) and freshman Alterique Gilbert (14 points). Terry Larrier had 19 points and freshman Alterique Gilbert had 14 to lead the Huskies in a loss against Wagner 67-58 in the season opener for both teams on Friday night.
