Nothing warms my heart more than getting random messages from clients about how the program has changed their life!

Videos, comments, and text messages also come at the perfect time… usually when I’m headed towards a quarterly emotional biz crash out 😂

My favorite messages however, are the ones that come years after we’ve worked together where they update me about how beautiful their life is and what they’ve accomplished since.

I didn’t build three different coaching containers so that my clients could work with me for 12 weeks and leave. I built them with the intention of going through them one after the other. That way I could teach them everything that they would need in order to have lifelong success and happiness.

Identity work takes time. It doesn’t happen in 3 months. which is why our coaching containers are designed for longer.

It’s not about pumping out transformation photos.

It’s about fulfilling my earthly responsibility of HEALING ❤️‍🩹. Full body and energy ✨ healing.

A responsibility that my mother, my sister, and my grandpa’s ancestors all had the honor of embodying.

Videos like this remind me that I’m on the right path. And That I’ve got the right people in my corner helping me get there.

Insulin resistance was wrecking my fat loss until I stopped following the weight loss approach that all the influencers swore by.

Sis. Sit down for this one. If you’ve got PMOS and you’re eating less, moving more, color-coding your meal prep, and the scale is just sitting there mocking you? It is NOT you. Pinky promise.

Your body isn’t being a drama queen. It’s juggling insulin resistance, cortisol that refuses to clock out, and blood sugar doing the cha-cha all day long. When all that’s going on backstage, your body clings to everything like it’s the last slice of pizza. So the answer was never “do more, eat less”.

I know this because I’ve been living with it for over 1 years. What helped me?

Steady blood sugar so I stopped face-planting every afternoon.
Lifting heavy instead of cardio-ing myself into the ground.
Calming my nervous system down.
And eating enough, which, not gonna lie, scared the daylights out of me at first.

So many women don’t even know they have pcos/pmos and get waved off because their ovaries “looked fine” on the ultrasound, when the real story was always hormones and metabolism.

So if your doctor said you’re “totally normal” but you have most of the symptoms and feel like the weight loss portion is may be harder than it should be…? You’re probably onto something.

Stop using approaches that are built for normal people. You special girlie 😉

Behind every “she has it all together” is a woman quietly running on empty.

Kristin Amos is the one who carries everyone else.

Have you ever looked at your biggest fear in the face and said “f**k it” lets burn some calories getting through it?

Well, that was me in Croatia. 😂

I’m severely afraid of heights. Especially heights where I could possibly fall from them and severely injure myself instead of dying. 😂

I said yes to a group hike because I was told there were beautiful views. I wasn’t prepared however, for the monstrosity that was Via Ferrata Fortica.

This route is 400 m long and climbs a cliff face up to the historic Fortica Fortress. We climbed roughly 300 vertical meters from the starting point which says just above sea level.

I was hooked in for 80% of it. However, there was no guide with us to supervise.

For most of it, I was singing in my head to keep calm, saying “over under” each time I unclipped and clipped a carabiner, and cursing at myself for not having prioritized the stairmaster more 😂😂. The last photo in the slide is accurate of how I looked most the time. 😂😂

It was terrifying and satisfying at the same time. Like most experiences that make you grow. 😜

When we got to the bottom, I thanked my body for its strength. Because of the hard work I’ve put in at the gym and the mental reps I’ve put in around limiting beliefs, I was able to experience something that most wouldn’t!

I wouldn’t mind doing another one to be honest. I won’t volunteer it as an activity by means because I’m not much of a hiker, but if a group asks me to… Absolutely. 😂😂

This is the part people do not always see.

They see the before-and-after.
They see the weight loss.
They see the stronger body.
They see the smile.
But they do not always see the smaller wins that created it.

In case you forgot what a woman’s body can look like, I’m here to remind you that social media is a highlight reel and influencers only show you what they want you to see.

Pictures are posed to enhance the best features.

Some of the influencers, whose body shape you look up to, also edit their photos to appear leaner, more fit, or with bigger booties.

These pictures were taken second apart.

I would consider myself a healthy and fit person. I still bloat, I still have a lower belly pooch ( I still have my uterus )

So I hope the next time you see yourself relaxed in the mirror, you don’t critique yourself. Healthy can look so many different ways. 🙃
