We are South Orange County, California's only non-profit, flat-track roller derby league. Flat Track Roller Derby located in South Orange County, CA.

We are South Orange County California's first non-profit, flat-track roller derby league, founded in the spring of 2009 by a trio of veteran derby skaters committed to upholding the standards set forth by WFTDA. Our practice space is the Laguna Hills Community Center, and we are proud to be a by-the-skaters, for-the-skaters organization.

New year, NEW SKATE CAMP ✨🧡🎉💙

Starting January 6, come learn skating skills and roller derby fundamentals with South Coast Roller Derby!

Whether you’re a regular at the roller rink or a total beginner, our experienced trainers will guide you every step of the way.

If you’re interested in learning to skate, joining our league, becoming a roller derby official, or just having fun in an inclusive community…this camp is for you! 🫵

We're bringing back Jamming for Jugs this October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Join us October 25, 2025!

This year, we're partnering with , a local nonprofit providing direct assistance, community referrals, and compassionate support to breast cancer patients in our community. 💕

This years format will be a round-robin style scrimmage tournament.

Skaters can join as a team (discounted registration for 10+ skater teams!) or as an individual. The registration fee is $30/skater OR $200/team of 10+ skaters. Registration fees will include a provided lunch. We are also looking for skating, non-skating, and event operations volunteers. Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt!

✨🏳️‍⚧️SECOND ANNUAL PRIDE SCRIMMAGE✨🏳️‍🌈

Come celebrate pride month with us at a friendly open scrimmage on Friday June 27!

🌈 Warm-ups at 7pm, first whistle at 8pm
🌈Jams by skill level (freshie-friendly)
🌈 $10 fee to benefit trans youth
🌈Colors will be classic black vs white but pride ✨flair✨ HIGHLY encouraged!

Our rink is located at the Laguna Hills Community Center behind the skate park at 25555 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills.

☀️ SCRD’s Summer Skate Camp is here! ☀️

Join our Summer Skate Camp, starting Tuesday May 20th, for the opportunity to improve your skating skills and learn roller derby fundamentals from the skaters of South Coast Roller Derby. 🛼

No skating experience or registration required! Whether you want to become a derby skaters, are interested in training as a derby official, or just want to learn new skating skills, our experienced trainers will guide you every step of the way, and all in a fun, community-focused setting! ✨

Our 2025 season is kicking off with a double header! 👯‍♀️

We are excited to host our friends at on Saturday, April 5, for back-to-back roller derby. Doors will open at 3pm, admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Be sure to bring your own chair!

Bout 1 will be Uppercuts/C Level. First whistle at 4pm.

Bout 2 will be Knockouts/B Level. Bout start at 6pm.

Our venue is at the Laguna Hills Community Center outdoor rink behind the skate park. Parking is free! Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase.
