21 years ago today, I took a leap of faith. 💫

I’d started teaching Pilates two years earlier purely as a hobby — I was just that impressed by what it had done for me. When the chance came to buy the studio where I’d been taking classes and subbing, something told me it was kismet. 🙌🏻

Two decades. A son raised, a mother lost, a pandemic that nearly took the whole thing down. Still here. Still loving it. 🫶🏻

None of it happens without my incredibly talented staff and my loyal, loving clients. You are the reason Fōkus is still standing. 👏🏼

And then there’s this plant. It came with the studio. It has survived three locations, inconsistent watering, and zero repotting — and it just keeps going. My running joke is that as long as this plant lives, so does Fōkus. Grow, baby. Grow. 🪴
