5K and 10K trail runs on the trails of the Salamonie State Forest. Bald Eagles make their home along the bluffs of the Salamonie.

The start and finish are at the Hominy Ridge Lake parking area inside the Salamonie State Forest. These are 5K and 10K trail runs on the trails of the Salamonie State Forest. The site has numerous waterfalls and is one of Indiana's true natural treasures. The start and finish have been changed to Hominy Ridge Lake. There will be a cookout after the race on the pavilion grill or possibly individual gourmet ice cream.

The June windstorm made life interesting.

Know that the trail conditions are great. Salamonie keeps improving drainage and erosion control throughout the forest property.
