SENOIA SATURDAY NIGHT RECAP

Rolled out for hot laps and ole girl was about as willing to turn as a freight train. We came in, started twisting on it, and threw damn near everything we had at it trying to wake it up. Truth be told, we overshot it and she hated every bit of it.

Qualified 18th.

Not exactly where you want to be when you're staring down a stacked field, but hey is what it is.

Went back to work, made more adjustments, and decided we were either going to figure it out or wear ourselves out trying.

Took the green for the feature and started charging. Passed cars, dodged trouble, and kept digging. When the dust settled, we had clawed our way from 18th to 7th.

Loaded her in the trailer in one piece, under her own power, and we'll take that fight to the next one.

We're not where we want to be yet, but we're sure as hell not backing up.

Adapt. Overcome. Reload. See y'all at the next one.

Friday Night at Penton Raceway Recap

The night started off pretty solid. We rolled out for hot laps and the car felt decent right off the trailer, so we didn't make many changes. Went out for qualifying and laid down a lap good enough for 4th.

We made a few adjustments before feature time, and that's when things got interesting.

As the green flag dropped, we got caught up in a Turn 1 fiasco. It seemed like forever before the caution finally came out, and when the dust settled, we were sent to the tail of the field.

We dropped the hammer, picked them off , and charged all the way back through the field for a strong 2nd-place finish.

Couldn't quite grab the top spot, but the car was rolling and the team never gave up. Proud of the effort and the comeback.

P2 at Penton. We'll take that momentum into tomorrow. 🏁💪

Two nights. Two tracks. One hard-fought weekend for the 888 crew.

Friday night at Penton Raceway we unloaded with speed right out of the gate.
🔥 3rd fastest in hot laps
🔥 Qualified 5th
🔥 Finished 3rd in the heat race putting us 5th for the feature

Feature time got wild while digging for more positions. The 888 caught an infield tractor tire which bent the nose frame down, and a body panel blew back blocking the driver’s view. At that point, safety came first and we loaded it up early. Sometimes dirt racing bites back.

Saturday morning came early. The crew got up with the roosters, cleaned up the damage, repaired the car, and headed to East Alabama Motor Speedway ready for redemption.

⚡ Qualified 2nd
⚡ Started inside pole for the heat race
⚡ Picked up the HEAT RACE WIN
⚡ Rolled off outside front row for the feature
⚡ Drove the 888 to a solid 3rd place finish

Proud of this team for never backing down and grinding through adversity all weekend long. Appreciate all the fans, sponsors, family, and crew that keep this thing rolling every week. The 888 showed speed all weekend — now we keep digging. 🏁🔥
