Indiana Magic 18U Cummings Come Up Short Against K County Kraken- Fowler 18U
September 6, 2026 vs. K County Kraken- Fowler 18U
Indiana Magic 18U Cummings lost to K County Kraken- Fowler 18U 7-4 on Sunday at Aim High Sports Complex.
K County Kraken- Fowler 18U jumped out to the lead in the top of the second inning after Alyssa Weible (Lakeland 2028) doubled, scoring three runs, Addyson Sainer (Warsaw 2027) tripled, scoring two runs, Reagan Klepinger (Whitko 2027) singled, scoring one run, and Chloe Keen (Whitko 2028) drew a walk, scoring one run.
Reese Johnson (2028) stepped in the circle first for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings. The starter gave up five hits and six runs over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking one. Layla Baker (Warsaw 2028) stepped in the circle first for K County Kraken- Fowler 18U. The starting pitcher surrendered seven hits and four runs (three earned) over four innings, striking out one and walking none.
Aubriella Reyes (2029), Brooklyn Minardo, Alivea Abel (2027), Georgia Ransom (2028), Macie Morrow, Kayla Jones, and Madison Harding (2027) each collected one hit for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings. Abel (2027), Ransom (2028), Jones, and Harding (2027) each drove in one run for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings were triumphant over Indiana Rush Shriver 15U 10-6 on Sunday at Aim High Sports Complex.
Indiana Magic 18U Cummings got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Alivea Abel (2027) drew a walk, scoring one run, Georgia Ransom (2028) grounded out, scoring one run, Madison Harding (2027) singled, scoring two runs, and Mia East singled, scoring two runs.
Indiana Magic 18U Cummings added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when Abel (2027) doubled, scoring one run, Reese Johnson (2028) singled, scoring one run, and Harding (2027) doubled, scoring two runs.
Brooklyn Minardo led things off in the circle for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings. The starting pitcher allowed six hits and six runs (four earned) over three innings, striking out six and walking four. Zoey Hayslet started in the circle for Indiana Rush Shriver 15U. The pitcher gave up nine hits and 10 runs over two innings, striking out one and walking two.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings took down K County Kraken- Fowler 18U 5-3 on Sunday at Aim High Sports Complex.
K County Kraken- Fowler 18U were the first to get on the board in the first when Chloe Keen (Whitko 2028) drew a walk, scoring one run.
K County Kraken- Fowler 18U committed an error, which helped Indiana Magic 18U Cummings tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.
K County Kraken- Fowler 18U jumped back into the lead in the top of the third inning after Reagan Klepinger (Whitko 2027) doubled down the left field line, and MariJo Bontrager (Wawasee 2028) tripled to center field, each scoring one run.
Indiana Magic 18U Cummings made the score 5-3 in the bottom of the third after Alivea Abel (2027) doubled, scoring two runs, Reese Johnson (2028) tripled, scoring one run, and Brooklyn Minardo singled, scoring one run.
Riley Zygas began the game for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings. The hurler surrendered two hits and three runs (two earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking three. Our first time out with this talented group of ladies was a success. We had a great opportunity to compete at SMWC, finishing the day with 2 wins and 2 losses. Even without much practice together yet, you can already see the pieces starting to come together — the potential is real.

A huge thank‑you to the SMWC players and Coach Gina Buhse for hosting us and giving our girls a chance to grow, compete, and learn. We appreciate you.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings Storm Back To Defeat Fort Wayne Force 18u Jedi

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings rallied to defeat Fort Wayne Force 18u Jedi 6-5 on Saturday at SMWC Softball Field. Indiana Magic 18U Cummings trailed by as many as four runs during the game.

Fort Wayne Force 18u Jedi got on the board in the top of the first inning after Avalee Stanley ‘27 (Frankton HS) flew out, Makhia Harding ‘27 (Rochester HS) flew out, Ivy Stackhouse ‘27 (Plymouth HS) Grace College singled to center field, and Elly Rickard ‘29 (Wayne Trace HS) doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 6-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Reese Johnson (2028) that drove in two.

Johnson (2028) earned the win for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings. The pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out none and walking none. Rickard ‘29 (Wayne Trace HS) took the loss for Fort Wayne Force 18u Jedi. The righty went three innings, giving up six runs (five earned) on six hits, striking out one and walking three. Aubriella Reyes (2029) started the game for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings. The hurler allowed three hits and four runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out none and walking two.
