Well we started off the weekend a bit slow losing our first pool game 4-0. We then proceeded to win every other game we played with scores of 16-2, 8-3, 11-2 and 6-0. USSSA Super Softball Champions! These girls played hard-with little sleep playing all games between 1:40 am and 7am. It's great to see how they turned it all around after that first game. A special thank you to Addison Goslee and Savannah Walters for helping us out and making a big impact on several games that got us there. Our hitting was on fire as we finished batting .455. Way to go Indiana Magic!!!

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings Take Lead And Never Look Back In Win Over Howard County Thunder 16U

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings easily dispatched Howard County Thunder 16U on Sunday at 645 Fieldhouse Wy, 6-0.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings got on the board in the top of the first inning after Reese Johnson (2028) singled, and Makenzie Clate (2027) hit into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Alivea Abel (2027) singled, Johnson (2028) singled, and Howard County Thunder 16U committed an error, each scoring one run.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings added one run in the third after Addison Goslee singled on an 0-2 count.

Johnson (2028) earned the win for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings. The southpaw surrendered three hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking none.

Johnson (2028) provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Indiana Magic 18U Cummings with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Indiana Magic 18U Cummings were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Madison Harding (2027) had the most chances in the field with three.

Lydia Camp, Joy Voorhis, and Miley Miller each collected one hit for Howard County Thunder 16U.

Alivea Abel (2027) collected three hits in three at bats, as Indiana Magic 18U Cummings defeated HC Bombers 16U 11-2 on Sunday at Current Location. Abel (2027) doubled in the third inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the second inning.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings scored six runs in the first inning on the way to victory. Kerrigan Gooden (2026) singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Georgia Ransom (2028) singled, scoring one run, Madison Harding (2027) singled, scoring one run, Lanie Garrison (2027) hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Addison Goslee singled, scoring one run.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Gooden (2026) grounded out, and Makenzie Clate (2027) singled, each scoring one run.

A double by Abel (2027), and a single by Reese Johnson (2028) helped Indiana Magic 18U Cummings extend their early lead in the third.

Clate (2027) earned the win for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings. The starting pitcher surrendered seven hits and two runs over three innings, striking out two and walking three.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings amassed 14 hits in the game. Johnson (2028) and Goslee each collected multiple hits for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings. Indiana Magic 18U Cummings were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Jacquelynn Weber (2026) made the most plays with three.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings bested Indiana Raging Inferno 18U 8-3 on Sunday at Current Location.

Indiana Raging Inferno 18U got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Reese Johnson (2028) induced Ruth Everly to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Quinn Thompson singled, scoring two runs.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings jumped into the lead in the top of the second when Madison Harding (2027) singled, scoring one run, Addison Goslee doubled, scoring one run, and Jacquelynn Weber (2026) doubled, scoring two runs.

Johnson (2028) earned the win for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings. The pitcher allowed five hits and three runs over four innings, striking out four and walking two.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings collected eight hits in the game. Weber (2026) set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Indiana Magic 18U Cummings with two hits in three at bats. Georgia Ransom (2028) stole two bases.

Hattie Graham, Thompson, Isabel Morrow, Kaelynn Fidler, and Alyssa Brees each collected one hit for Indiana Raging Inferno 18U. Thompson went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings got on the board in the first inning after Clate (2027) singled, scoring one run.

I wanted to give a big shout out to Madison Harding. This young lady had quite the weekend at the Scenic City showcase. She batted an incredible .857 with an on base percentage of .889. She was locked in all weekend and it was an amazing sight to see. Congratulations Madison. Keep up the great work.

Indiana Magic 18U Cummings were victorious against TN Nighthawks 18U 5-2 on Sunday at 941 Pine Grove Rd.
TN Nighthawks 18U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Cruse (2026) singled down the left field line, and Hill (2027) doubled to center field, each scoring one run.
Indiana Magic 18U Cummings flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 5-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Harding (2027) that drove in two.
Johnson (2028) stepped in the circle first for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings. The southpaw surrendered six hits and two runs over three innings, striking out one and walking none. Langfitt (2026) stepped in the circle first for TN Nighthawks 18U. The righty allowed two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out one and walking four. Clate (2027) pitched one inning of zero-run ball for Indiana Magic 18U Cummings in relief. The pitcher gave up zero hits, striking out one and walking none.
