⚾️🌟 What a season for our Lafayette Little League 12U All-Stars! 🌟⚾️

Our 12U All-Stars wrapped up an incredible run by finishing 3rd in the Tennessee Little League State Tournament, and we couldn’t be more proud of this group of players, coaches, and families!

At the State Tournament, this team went 2-1, scoring an impressive 28 runs while allowing just 9. Over the course of their 9-game All-Star season, they dominated the competition by scoring 78 runs and surrendering only 18. This team also made history by becoming the FIRST 12U team in Lafayette Little League history to win two games at the Tennessee Little League State Tournament—a milestone that will be remembered for years to come.

Even more remarkable, 8 of the 12 players on this 12U team (Tate Austin, Malachi Brawner, Keagan Bussey, Kyler Bussey, Clayton Keene, Noah Key, Brylen Lee, and Gunner Wix) have now reached the Tennessee State Tournament at the 8U, 10U, and 12U levels. NO group of players in Lafayette Little League history has ever accomplished that! Their dedication, hard work, and love for the game have set a new standard for future All-Stars!

A special recognition goes to our head coach Todd Austin, who has led this sanctioned All-Star group for the past five years, beginning at the 8U level. His commitment, leadership, and guidance have played a tremendous role in the development and success of these players, helping shape both their skills on the field and their character off of it.

While this season has come to an end, the memories, accomplishments, and legacy these young men have created will last forever. Congratulations to our players, coaches, and families on an unforgettable All-Star season. Thank you for representing Lafayette with class, determination, and pride every time you stepped on the field!

What a run for our Lafayette Little League 8U Sanction All-Stars! 🌟 👏

These boys represented our league, our town, and our community with heart all the way through the Tennessee State Tournament with a record of 1-2. They were only Lafayette Little League’s second 8U team to make it to State.

While the season has come to a close, these players have so much to be proud of. They battled through every inning, never quit, and represented Lafayette with class, sportsmanship, and grit.

A huge thank you to our coaches for the countless hours they invested, to the parents for their unwavering support, and to our amazing fans who filled the stands with blue and cheered these boys on every step of the way. Your support meant the world to them.

💙⚾ STATE TOURNAMENT SATURDAY! ⚾❤️

🌟Our 8U All-Stars showed incredible heart and determination, battling back from a 7-0 deficit heading into the 4th inning to defeat Lexington 8-7 in an unforgettable comeback victory. This team never quit, and they proved that no game is over until the final out.

🌟Our 12U All-Stars came up just short in a hard-fought 6-5 game against a very talented Clarksville team. While the result wasn’t what we wanted, our players represented Lafayette with pride, grit, and class.

♥️ A huge THANK YOU to everyone who traveled to support our teams. Seeing the stands filled with Lafayette blue meant the world to our players, coaches, and families. Your energy and support helped create an amazing atmosphere!

Now it’s time to do it again!

⚾️ STATE TOURNAMENT TIME! ⚾️

Our Lafayette Little League 8U & 12U Allstars are headed to the Tennessee State Tournament tonight!

These players have worked hard all season, represented our community with pride, and now they’ll be competing against some of the best teams in Tennessee.

Let’s fill the stands with blue, cheer loud, and show these players what Lafayette pride is all about! Thank you to our families, coaches, volunteers, and everyone who has supported these teams throughout the season!

Both these teams will play two games tomorrow (Saturday 7/11). Those times can’t be determined until after tonight’s game!

Our Lafayette Senior League had 5 players and a coach selected to join with players and coaches from Smith County Senior League along with some from Trousdale Co. to make one Allstar team to play in the 16U TN State Little League tournament tomorrow! We are so proud of these boys who were chosen to represent our league and community! We hope all who can will go support this team in Gray, TN! Since we know it’s a far drive and a holiday, we have put the GameChanger link in the comments so you can still cheer them on from home! The top two teams from pool play tomorrow will go head to head on Sunday, July 5th in the championship game. Good luck to the Smith County team and coaches! ⚾️ ⭐️

A little reminiscing today about just how far this league has come since Covid in 2020!

2021-12U boys went to state
2022-8U boys went to state and was runner up
2023-12U boys went to state
2024-10U boys went to state
2024-10U girls went to state and was runner up
2025-11U girls went to state
2026-8U boys going to state
2026-12U boys going to state

Making it to the state tournament is not an easy task! There is a lot of tough competition on the road to the state tournament!

In 2021 we had 225 kids in our program! In 2024 we wanted to give the girls in the community the same opportunity has their boy counterparts so we brought softball into our program. And some of our older boys just couldn’t bare the thought of not playing little league so we thought let’s give senior league a whirl as well!
This year in 2026 we have 436 kids in our program! To say we have grown this program and the community that comes together and supports them is incredible to me! At last weeks district tournament Lafayette hands down had the biggest crowds each night! Family members would show up early or stay after their team was done to support the other Lafayette teams!! I truly love this league and how it brings family, friends, and the community together!

We ain’t done yet!! Come out July 10th and 11th and support our little 8U coach pitch boys at the state tournament In Goodlettsville and our 12U boys at the state tournament in Gallatin

We are beyond proud of all of our players this year and how you all have represented our league so well!!

Let’s bring home a couple of state titles boys!!

Congratulations to our 12U Allstar Baseball team! They are District 2 2026 Champs and heading to State after defeating Smith County tonight 18-0! We loved seeing so many of our little league players come out and support these boys! Lafayette Little League isn’t just about winning ball games. It’s about teaching our youth to cheer on one another, to form new friendships, and make special childhood memories! 💙♥️⚾️⭐️👏

Tennessee State tournaments for 8U and 12U baseball will be July 10th, 11th, and 12th. 8U State will be played in Goodlettsville, and 12U State will be played in Gallatin. Both teams get to stay close to home this year, so we hope everyone can show up and show out for our teams! Official tournament brackets and more information will be shared when it becomes available! Keep 👀 on our page!
