Wondering what *Yoga with Baby* is actually like?

If you're imagining a regular yoga class where you're somehow supposed to keep your baby quiet the whole time—this isn't that.

✨ Babies come to class with their moms.
✨ Feed your baby whenever they need it.
✨ Change diapers.
✨ Rock, bounce, nurse, soothe, or simply hold your baby.
✨ Take breaks whenever needed.
✨ Arrive late if you need to. I never lock anyone out, and I understand that getting out the door with a baby can take longer than expected.

This class is designed specifically for postpartum recovery and life with a baby.

You'll find gentle movement to support your core, pelvic floor, posture, back, hips, and overall healing after birth. You'll also find something many new mothers are missing: community.

Some babies sleep through class.
Some babies nurse the entire time.
Some babies want to be held.
Some babies are happy to hang out on a blanket and watch.

All of it is welcome.

There is no expectation that your baby behaves a certain way, and there is no expectation that you "get through" the class perfectly. We simply meet you where you are.

Yes, your baby stays with you for the entire class.

One question I get often is, *"How old should my baby be?"*

The answer is simple: whenever **you** feel ready.

Some mothers join in the early weeks after birth. Others come months later. There are no age limits for this class. If your baby is not yet highly mobile and you're looking for support, movement, and community, you are welcome here.

In fact, many mothers find that continuing to attend throughout the first year helps them stay consistent with their recovery, connect with other moms, and maintain a little space for themselves during a season when self-care can feel hard to come by.

📍 Wednesdays at 10:45am
📍 Little Herbal Apothecary

Come as you are. Bring your baby. Find movement, support, and community with other mothers who understand exactly what this season of life feels like.

I get questions all the time from women about things like pelvic floor concerns, core weakness, back pain, hip pain, prolapse, diastasis recti, exercise during pregnancy, and how to safely return to movement postpartum.

The truth is, most women aren't looking for another workout.

They're looking for answers.

That's one of the reasons I created my Women's Health + Prenatal Yoga class.

Every Wednesday, we combine yoga, functional movement, breathwork, pelvic floor education, and community support to help women better understand their bodies. Whether you're pregnant, postpartum, preparing for pregnancy, or simply wanting a more thoughtful approach to movement, this class is designed to meet you where you are.

I recently wrote an article explaining why I combined Women's Health and Prenatal Yoga into one class, how it differs from a typical yoga class, and why I believe women deserve movement education that supports them through every stage of life.

And if you've been curious about joining class, I'd love to welcome you on Wednesday.

When a baby is born, everyone asks about the baby.

Let's talk about the mother.

What was the most helpful thing someone did for you after birth?

Have you been doing all the "right" exercises for diastasis recti... and still not seeing results?

You've gone to the mom fitness classes.

You've followed the online videos.

You've downloaded the programs.

You've been putting in the work.

Yet your core still feels weak, disconnected, or not quite like it used to.

If that's you, I want you to know something:

You're probably not doing anything wrong.

One of the biggest misconceptions about diastasis recti is that healing is just about finding the right exercises. But for many women, the missing piece isn't another workout.

Your breathing patterns, pressure management, pelvic floor function, posture, and movement habits all play a role in how your body recovers.

That's why some moms work incredibly hard and still feel stuck.

I wrote this article because I wanted to answer the questions so many women ask after they've already tried everything they can find online.

If you've been wondering:

• Why aren't these exercises working?
• Why doesn't my core feel stronger?
• What am I missing?

This article is for you.

💛 Comment **STRONG** below and I'll send the article directly to your DMs.

Or, if you're ready to take the next step, you can also explore my Pelvic Floor Guide or book a private session for personalized support.

You don't need another generic program.

You need answers that fit your body.

Postpartum isn't just a recovery period.

It's a transformation.

What was something you experienced postpartum that no one prepared you for?

👇 Let's normalize the real experience.

"What's something another mom did for you that made a hard season easier?

A meal.

Have you been doing all the "right" diastasis recti exercises... and still not seeing results?

Maybe you've attended the mom fitness classes.

Maybe you've followed the online videos.

Maybe you've been faithfully doing your core exercises for weeks or even months.

And yet your belly still feels disconnected.

Your core still feels weak.

You still don't feel like yourself.

If that's you, I want you to hear this:

You're not failing.

And you're probably not lazy, unmotivated, or doing too little.

In fact, many women who come to me have already tried all the things they were told would fix their diastasis recti.

What they're often missing isn't another exercise.

It's understanding why those exercises aren't working for their body.

One of the biggest misconceptions about diastasis recti is that there's a universal set of exercises that works for everyone.

But recovery is rarely that simple.

Your breathing patterns matter.

Your pressure management matters.

Your movement habits matter.

Your pelvic floor matters.

Your posture, lifestyle, previous injuries, and daily demands all matter.

When these underlying factors aren't addressed, it's possible to spend months doing exercises without making the progress you're hoping for.

That's why I wrote this article.

In it, I explain some of the less obvious reasons diastasis recti exercises may not be working and what to consider if you've been feeling stuck despite your best efforts.

Because the goal isn't just to "close the gap."

The goal is to build a strong, functional core that supports you in real life.

The goal is to feel confident lifting your child.

To move without fear.

To return to exercise knowing your body is working with you, not against you.

If you've been searching for answers and feel like you're getting the same advice everywhere you turn, this article may offer a different perspective.

If you're looking for practical next steps, my Pelvic Floor Guide can help you better understand the connection between your core, pelvic floor, and movement.

And if you're ready for individualized support, I work with moms both virtually and in person to help uncover what's keeping them stuck and create a plan that fits their unique body and goals.

You don't need another generic program.

You need answers that make sense for you.

If your diastasis recti or pelvic floor symptoms aren’t improving—even after trying exercises, yoga, or online programs—you’re not failing. The issue isn’t effort. It’s how your body is managing pressure.

You've been cleared for exercise.

So why doesn't your body feel ready?

This is one of the most common questions I hear from postpartum moms.

At your 6-week checkup, you may be told you're "good to go"—but that doesn't always mean your body is ready to jump back into running, lifting, high-intensity workouts, or the exercise routine you enjoyed before pregnancy.

Many women are left wondering:

Why do I still feel weak?

Why am I experiencing leaking, pressure, or discomfort?

Why does exercise feel harder than I expected?

And perhaps most importantly...

How do I know what's normal and what's a sign that I need more support?

The truth is that postpartum recovery is often more complex than we're led to believe. While many moms are eager to get moving again, rushing back into exercise without understanding what your body needs can sometimes lead to frustration, setbacks, or symptoms that don't seem to improve.

That's exactly why I wrote this article.

In it, I break down what postpartum rehabilitation really means, how to recognize signs that your body may need additional support, and what a safe return to exercise can look like—whether your goal is walking comfortably, getting back to yoga, returning to strength training, or eventually running again.

If you've been searching for answers and feel like you're getting conflicting information, this article may provide the clarity you've been looking for.

Because postpartum recovery isn't about "bouncing back."

It's about rebuilding strength, confidence, and trust in your body.

Read the full article and discover what every postpartum mom should know before returning to exercise.

And if you're looking for personalized support, I work with moms both virtually and in person to help them navigate postpartum recovery and return to movement safely and confidently.

Read the article and let me know what questions come up for you. I'd love to support you on your journey.
