Now that the dust has settled, we want to once again say THANK YOU, Lafayette, for another season of raising the game in our city.
We didn’t reach our ultimate goal of winning the division, and we don’t take that lightly. We owe it to our city to strive to be the best. To come out on top. Because that’s what our growing soccer community deserves.
That said, this season gave us some incredible moments together. We broke our home attendance record on LA Krewe Rush Night. We embraced the excitement of a World Cup year and watched our kids fall even more in love with the game as they traded Panini World Cup stickers before kickoff. We saw LKR academy player Ellis Haynes deliver in his first start with the Krewe. We welcomed players from all over the world to a field in Lafayette, and watched them immediately build relationships with young players in our community who could see themselves chasing the very same dream.
We fought. We battled. We gave everything we had.
And the best part? It’s not over. Because our mission goes far beyond the soccer field.
Thank you for your continued and unwavering support, Lafayette.
