The Cajuns are back at home this week to take on UAB, and as always, the QB Club luncheon will be here Thursday to get you ready for gameday. Our two guests this week are both from right here in Lafayette. Coach Tim Leger will be the assistant coach guest. He holds the titles of Offensive Coordinator and WR's Coach and has now been with the Cajuns since 2018. Wide receiver Russell Babineaux (Acadiana High product) will also join us after hauling in his first collegiate touchdown Saturday night against USC. Russell totaled 6 catches for 91 yards including his forementioned 14-yard touchdown in the 4th quarter.

Each Thursday, doors will open at 11:00 AM in The McElligott Club at Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium. Like last week, our new schedule will run as follows:

Lunch begins at 11:30 AM
Coach Leger Presentation 11:40 PM
Russell Babineaux Presentation 11:55 PM
Coach Desormeaux Presentation 12:15 PM
Lunch Cost: $30

We are also looking for Presenting Sponsors for QB Club luncheons throughout the year. A presenting sponsorship with the QB Club will put your company’s logo on the Weekly QB Club graphic (sent to all members, posted on social media, and displayed throughout the luncheon) and give you the chance to address the group. CAJUNS WIN! Come celebrate a Cajuns victory and preview the team’s trip to Los Angeles at our 2nd QB Club luncheon of the year! Fresh off a 243-yard, 5-TD rushing performance, Offensive Line Coach Steve Farmer and his wrecking crew will be our guests this week! Ragin Cajun offensive linemen Kaden Moreau, George Jackson, Jayce Mitchell, Jakoby Isom, Zay Alexander, and Andrew Martinez will all be at lunch to answer questions and meet everyone.

Each Thursday, doors will open at 11:00 AM in The McElligott Club at Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium. With last week’s program running a little long, we will start the assistant coach and student athlete presentations a little earlier this week. The adjusted schedule will run as follows:

Football season is back! What better way to ring in a new season than with our first QB Club Luncheon of 2026! Cajun great Chris Gannon will be your host this season, and just like years past, guests will have the opportunity to hear from a player, an assistant coach, and Coach Des each week. This week’s Assistant Coach presentation will feature Defensive Coordinator Jim Salgado, joined by Senior captain LB Jake St. Andre. Jake is a Louisiana product from Haughton High School. He began his career here as a walk-on and was placed on scholarship before the 2025 season. He was a standout for the Cajuns defense last season and voted a Team Captain by the locker room at the end of the year. We are excited for him to share his story with you all!

This week’s presenting sponsor is Bon Temps Grill! In addition to being one of the best restaurants in town, Bon Temps has been a tremendous partner of our program for QB Club luncheons, recruiting functions, coaches’ meals, and so much more.

Each Thursday, doors will open at 11:00 AM in The McElligott Club at Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium. Come enjoy a delicious lunch from Bon Temps Grill, and hear from Coach Salgado, Jake, and Coach Desormeaux as we preview our week 1 matchup with Lamar in addition to what you can expect from this year’s Cajuns.
