FROM THE DESK OF LWA GENERAL MANAGER MELISSA COMEAUX

As Louisiana Wrestling Alliance continues to grow, so does the depth and talent within our women's division. Over the past year, we've seen more competitors step forward looking to make a name for themselves, prove they belong, and climb the ranks of one of the fastest-growing divisions in LWA.

With that in mind, I am pleased to announce another matchup for Louisiana Wrestling Alliance Presents: GEAUX 4 GOLD on July 4th.

"The California Mountain Snake" Kuasi Malandro will face Kimber Fox in singles competition.

Kuasi Malandro enters this contest as one of the most recognizable competitors in the division. Following a decisive victory over Lexi Gomez at Power Load and her hard-fought Eye for an Eye Match against Brooklyn Barrett at Heartland Heat II, Kuasi continues to establish herself as a force to be reckoned with.

For Kimber Fox, this match represents an opportunity unlike any other.

While Kimber has previously competed in Louisiana Wrestling Alliance, she has yet to make her official singles debut. Her last appearance came in April 2025 when she teamed with Asher Andrews against the team of Kuasi Malandro and Desmond Thibeaux. Now, more than a year later, Kimber steps into the spotlight on her own and will immediately be tested against one of the division's toughest competitors.

This matchup is exactly what the LWA women's division is all about, established talent defending their position while hungry newcomers look to make a statement. A victory for Kimber Fox could instantly elevate her standing within the division, while Kuasi Malandro has no intention of allowing another competitor to leapfrog her path toward future opportunities.

Earlier today, LWA General Manager Melissa Comeaux announced that the LWA Tag Team Championships will be on the line at Louisiana Wrestling Alliance Presents: GEAUX 4 GOLD July 4th!

Champions Mack Johnson & "The Mad Dog" Gil Gracie will make their first championship defense against the red-hot team of "The Troublemaker" Cain & Jett Danger.

Cain and Danger earned this opportunity after a major victory over Jay Hale and Desmond Thibeaux at Vendetta, proving they have what it takes to compete with the best teams in Louisiana Wrestling Alliance.

One of the responsibilities of being a champion in Louisiana Wrestling Alliance is defending your championship. With that in mind, I am officially announcing that LWA Tag Team Champions Mack Johnson and Gil Gracie will defend the LWA Tag Team Championships at Louisiana Wrestling Alliance Presents: GEAUX 4 GOLD on July 4th against "The Troublemaker" Cameron Cain and Jett Danger.

At Vendetta, Cameron Cain and Jett Danger impressed both the LWA faithful and management with a decisive victory over the team of Desmond Thibeaux and Jay Hale. As a result, they have earned an opportunity at the LWA Tag Team Championships.

As for the champions, there is no secret that Mack Johnson and Gil Gracie are far from friends. Despite their personal disdain for one another, they have found success inside the ring and currently sit atop the LWA tag team division. Whether they like it or not, champions must defend their titles, and the LWA Tag Team Championships deserve to be contested regularly against worthy challengers.

On July 4th, Mac Johnson and Gil Gracie will face Cameron Cain and Jett Danger at Geaux 4 Gold.

As Louisiana Wrestling Alliance prepares for Geaux 4 Gold on July 4th, I am pleased to announce another marquee matchup for what is already shaping up to be one of the biggest nights in company history.

Former LWA Champion "The Exclamation Point" Steve Anthony will go toe-to-toe with Desmond Thibeaux.

Steve Anthony remains one of the most accomplished competitors in LWA history. A former champion and proven main event competitor, Anthony has made it clear that his mission is to work his way back into championship contention.

Standing in his way will be Desmond Thibeaux, a competitor who continues to impress every time he steps into an LWA ring. Most recently, Thibeaux survived until the final three competitors in the Boiling Point Battle at Heartland Heat II, showcasing both his resilience and determination. A victory over a former champion could be the defining moment of his career.
