There have been several inquiries about camping at Copper Park. At this time it is no longer allowed. We are hopeful that riders will be allowed to stay overnight in the future but for now it is what it is.
There have also been reports of nettles on the trail. Some horses (and riders) are sensitive to these plants. We are working to cut them back to avoid issues. There are also some areas that have a lot of burdock that we are cutting back as well. Both of these issues are ongoing and we are doing our best to address them.
If you encounter downed trees, patches of noxious weeds, or other trails issues that need to be addressed, please notify us as to the location. If you are able to give a GPS coordinate it is extremely helpful as we are a small group of people maintaining the trails.
