Hi im Benna and I’m the owner of Handmade By Benna! I started my own company because my mom has been diagnosed with cancer since 2009 and I have had severe asthma and chronic migraines my whole life. I decided I wanted to make a change in the world of cosmetics, and home goods. All of my products are handmade with the intention of making products accessible for all and ensuring the ingredients used are biodegradable and phthalate free! Swipe to see some of the magic! 🧪 ✨
I have always had a love for science and I’m currently studying chemistry and minoring in mathematics at Cal State LA. In high school, i was a part of the Health and Medical Occupations Program where I took advanced science classes and interned at Kaiser Permanente in the Pathology Lab where the my advisor requested me for a second semester. 📓
I am also a proud advocate for the arts, dancing since I was 2 years old and performing on stage since I was 3! Dancing and singing have been an integral part of my life where I find an escape for myself. Recently, I began acting and it has become a wonderful way for me to meet new people and explore other outlets. 🎭
