The most recent observation. Most of the Broads and Alton Bay is out but still locked in ice North and West of Varney Point, Governors and Steamboat Islands

Sad to say that Summer is almost over... As always, we wish it lasted a little bit longer... However, Fall is a great time to go boating and see the beautiful foliage from the lake... That will be coming soon as the first frost of the season is already predicted for the North Country tonight...

Some of the treasures of the Lakes Region and gems of Lake Winnipesaukee are right here for your enjoyment... One example is the MV Mount Washington... What a great way to view and tour the lake... It comes highly recommended... This is a beautiful photo of the rear of the "Mount" as she cruises into the Sunset on our gorgeous lake!!
