Hello,

Sometimes growth looks like moving forward.

Sometimes growth looks like slowing down.

Last night I was so excited about my book that I wanted to keep reading, editing, and pushing ahead long after my eyes were tired.

Then I heard a thought:

"What are you hurrying so fast for?"

Maybe the journey matters just as much as the destination.

Today's blog is a reflection on becoming, slowing down, and learning to appreciate the moment you're living while you're living it.

Hi, friends,

Tonight I started writing about what I thought was me “digging out of a hole” and by the time I finished writing… I realized maybe I was never in one at all.

Maybe I was healing.
Maybe I was resting.
Maybe I was finally learning that saying no to some things was me saying yes to myself.

This piece surprised me while I was writing it, and those are always the writings that stay with me the most.
