I am Sarah Adams, a certified Group Exercise Instructor and Health Coach! Work it Out with Sarah Adams has been offering group fitness classes in the Wyalusing area three times a week for the past 14 years! Aerobics is an hour long cardio workout that incorporates simple, basic moves to upbeat music. Positive benefits can include an endorphin high, reduce stress, burn calories, boost your mood and
energy, improve balance and core strength, make friends, feel empowered, and have FUN! Aerobics is also available as a Monthly Video Subscription. For $25, you get all month access to 17 Aerobics classes via a Google Drive folder, allowing you to do the workouts whenever and wherever you want. Toning is a 60 minute strength class! It starts with an aerobic warm up, then we use heavier weights and a slower pace to focus on form. Positive benefits can include build muscle, increase bone density, strengthen joints, boost metabolism, improve menopausal symptoms, plus ALL the benefits from Aerobics too!! Classes are currently held at The Studio on Six on Route 6 in Black Walnut. Participants must be 13 years or older. Your first class is FREE! After that each class is $5 or a punch card can be purchased: 5 classes for $20 or 10 classes for $40 ($4 each!) You can also earn a free class for bringing someone new to a workout! Cash, check, or Venmo all accepted. Weekly and monthly schedules will be posted on the Work it Out with Sarah Adams and The Studio on Six pages on Sundays. You can also sign up for text reminders at 1-833-215-5414. All you need is sneakers and water! Most women use 1 or 2 pound hand weights for Aerobics- I suggest trying it first without then starting with 1 lb. We use heavier weights (5-15 lbs) for Toning. There are some available at The Studio. There is no RSVP or sign up. If class is scheduled and you want to come, just show up! The first time you may want to arrive a little early to sign a waiver. That’s it! Parking at The Studio is limited to 9 spots, so please carpool if possible. If the lot is full, please park at Scott Tyler’s Mechanical Services garage on Old Route 6 (which is behind and diagonal to The Studio) and walk through the yard. Thank you!! It’s an awesome group! Everyone just shows up and does whatever they can/want- no judgement! I also offer a 30-minute relaxation class called Pause in the Salt Room at Dry Bones Wellness. This practice involves breathwork, meditation, stillness and halotherapy to regulate your nervous system, lower cortisol levels, cleanse your respiratory tract, and soothe your skin. These classes are $20 each, usually Thursday evenings, and posted on social media. I also offer private group sessions! If your friends, colleagues, etc. want to try out a class or have one as part of a team building or celebration, message me! There are Weekend Retreats too!
