Hi RC fam, Sam Steele here.
As many of you may already know, today is my last day at RC. This move is bittersweet for me, but I know RC will always be in great hands with Deb and Krista. I wanted to come on here to say thank you for making my second time here even better than the first. You make it really hard to leave, which is why it's not a goodbye but a see you later. This club has become more than a place to play or work; it's my home and my family. There's really no place like it, and I couldn't be prouder to call River City my home. I am so grateful to have a place that makes leaving so hard. To my team, I love you all, and I can't wait to see you grow. You are ten of the hardest-working and most selfless people I have ever met, and I'll miss you dearly. If you're looking for a place to play or coach, please give RC a try. No, we don't have all the glitz and glamour, but we have something more important. We have directors who know every kid by name. We have coaches who care about you as a person, not just a player. We have players who are kind, gritty, and determined. And I wouldn't trade it for anything. Thank you, River City, and thank you, 15Red. No way I'd rather go out than as a National Champion!
