Yesterday, the La Vernia Sports Booster Club had the honor of hosting a Coaches Luncheon as a small way to give back to the men and women who give so much to our student-athletes throughout the entire year.
Our coaches pour into our kids during their seasons, out of season, and even throughout the summer, and we are so thankful for the time, energy, and heart they invest in our athletes.
One of our favorite moments of the day happened before we even began serving lunch. As everyone gathered, the coaches began taking off their hats and looking around to see who was going to pray. It was such a simple moment, but one that reminded us of how special this community truly is. 💙
We were also excited to announce that the Booster Club will be giving each high school sports program a flat $1,500 donation, including our athletic trainers, as well as making a $3,000 donation to our Junior High athletic program.
That’s over $25,000 going directly back into our athletic programs to help create an even better experience for our student-athletes! 🐻💙
Thank you to our coaches, athletic trainers, and everyone who invests in our kids. And thank you to our members, sponsors, volunteers, and community for making it possible for the Booster Club to continue giving back to our athletes and programs!
