🤼 NEW TO USA WRESTLING? START HERE!

Before your wrestler hits the practice mat or registers for a tournament, they’ll need an active USA Wrestling membership card. The good news? Getting one is pretty simple and only takes about 10 minutes.

Here’s your checklist 👇

1️⃣ Go to usawmembership.com and create a free account.

2️⃣ Create your wrestler’s profile — or claim their existing profile if they’re a returning athlete.

3️⃣ Select the correct membership type for your athlete and link them to your wrestling club.

4️⃣ Complete any required SafeSport steps shown on the account. These requirements mainly apply to older/adult athletes and coaches, rather than younger wrestlers.

5️⃣ Pay the membership fee. Pricing varies based on age and membership level, so check the current rate when registering.

6️⃣ Submit! Your wrestler’s USA Wrestling card will be issued to the account and will be valid for the season. ✅

🚨 DON’T WAIT UNTIL TOURNAMENT MORNING!

Your wrestler’s card must be active before their first practice and before registering for a tournament. We recommend getting it handled the week before your season begins.
