Verne boasts a total of 15 team and individual national championships and over 70 conference titles. In addition, 10 La Verne student-athletes have won national player of the year awards and five coaches have been named national coaches of the year. In 2014, La Verne placed 37th among 326 NCAA Division III schools in the prestigious Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup, an award given annually to colleges across the United States with the the most success in athletic program.
