First dual of the season ✔️

All three teams won their opening duals vs. Coachella Valley HS. Boys JV won 48-24, Girls Varsity won 54-18 and Boys Varsity won 59-13. Great way to start the season!!

Our girls team wasn't going to let the boys have all the fun today! They ended up in 6th place at the Glendora Girls Thanksgiving Throwdown and had the following placers:

1st Place - Breanna Beltran (155)
2nd Place - Mariah Perez-Ortiz (130)
3rd Place - Nethania Munguia (110)
Consolation Champ - Rori Rapan (125)

It's the First Tournament of the season and the Boys Team is bringing home hardware! They took 4th as a Team at the Inaugural John Rice Invitational and had the following 7 placers:

1st Place - Josiah Tessandore (165)
2nd Place - Slade Hanes (113)
3rd Place - Jacob Sanchez (190)
Chris Lopez (215)
4th Place - Abraham Chapa (106)
5th Place - Gavin Silva (120)
Hector Cabrera (120)

We have CIF medallists!!! Three Blackhawks stood atop the podium today at the CIF-SS Eastern Division Championships.

Julian Castro - 6th at 175 lbs
Jacob Sanchez - 7th at 190 lbs
Chris Lopez - 6th at 215 lbs

Unfortunately, they did not qualify for the Masters Tournament next weekend and the Boys season is now over.

Results for the CIF-SS Girls Division Championships. We have 4 athletes going to Masters!!!!

Mariah Perez-Ortiz - 3rd at 130 lbs
Breanna Beltran - 4th at 140 lbs
Rori Rapan - 6th at 115 lbs
Nethania Munguia - 8th at 105 lbs.

All 4 will be competing next Saturday in Palm Springs.
