Mission Statement
The mission of the La Porte City Waves Swim Team is to provide a fun and safe environment where youth ages 5-18 of all abilities have the opportunity to improve their swimming skills and physical fitness through instruction, training and competition. We work to instill a lifelong love of swimming through enjoyment, teamwork and accomplishment at all levels, while promoting self-improvement, good sportsmanship, hard work and commitment as desirable goals; and developing the value of team unity by participating in intra-team and inter-club competition.
