CCYL Bambino Buddy Ball

The 2026 Bambino Buddy Ball Spring season came to a close today. We had a great turnout and despite the heat, we played a great game. I remain in complete awe of these players and the resilience that they display not only on the field, but in their everyday lives. This year was by far the biggest show of progress across the board since I started coaching (I think this is year 6).  Every single player, walked up to that plate with undeniable confidence and determination, displaying incredible improvement in their own way. Way to go!!! A special Thank you to Charles County Youth League - CCYL, CCYL Wolfpack 11U Travel Baseball Team, Charles County Volunteer Rescue Squad, EMS 51 and University of Maryland Charles Regional (Craig Renner) for your help this year. I’m excited to see what the Fall season brings. Everybody have a safe and enjoyable summer and I will see you in September. 🥎💕🥎

Thank you to the Charles County Rescue Squad for coming out yesterday. An extra special thank you for assisting one of the spectators who ended up needing your help. The Bambino’s can’t wait for you to come back.

2026 Opening Day was a huge success!!!

CCYL Opening Day is this Saturday, 11 April at 8am. The league still needs assistance in reserving the following:

- DJ
- Fosters Grille car
- mascots from Texas Roadhouse , Rita’s, blue crabs and Chick-fil-A
- pastor/preacher

If anyone can help with any of these, please message me as soon as possible. We would only need help for an hour or two Saturday morning.

Bambino pictures will be immediately following Opening Ceremonies on the Field of Dreams. For those not attending the ceremonies, be at the park around 8:45am for pics. Our first game of 2026 will immediately follow pictures.
