HEADS UP! The countdown has started!!!!

One week to go before we set up at the Prineville Pow WOW!! June 19th -22nd and the Crook County Fairgrounds.

For those who aren't familiar with us, our business is SG Lapidary. We will have that name as well as Thunderegg Lovers out front. You can't miss us, we are 3 booths from the entrance. We will have all of our uncut thundereggs, boxed thundereggs, cut and polished thundereggs AS WELL AS everything from our lapidary including slabs, rough, polished, cabochons (not too many this year), mineral specimens and a new booth to teach you how to identify your own rocks!

Free gift bags for kids, as always (while supplies last).

Baby Doe thunderegg for sale in the shop. YES we do have this under claim so we can legally sell them. NO we are not going to get upset if others go up there (to the Baby Doe site) and dig. You, as a collector will have more McDermitt eggs to choose from. These will not be sold in large quantity though because getting them is WORK!!!

1/2 pound of mini thundereggs in an organza gift bag.
These average 1 inch in diameter but can be every bit as colorful as their larger counterparts.
Approximately 10 eggs per bag; maybe 8, maybe 11….

Don’t try the Oregon mountains yet! It’s too early! The desert may be questionable too!

Crook County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue’s busy year of rescuing motorists stranded in the snow continued Thursday evening, as they brought five people to safety in the Ochoco National Forest, about 40 miles southeast of Prineville.

Sometimes you get a real winner!
Caldera Flame Thunderegg.
We have had this one for a while, it was only 2/3 of an egg with an eroded face. We knew it had something nice inside but we were not expecting perfection!!

Thank You!!!!

The first time I saw someone post a photo of all the boxes they were mailing in a day, I made that photo my goal!
I have added 3 more packages since this was taken and
I still have 12 more to go…..and counting.
I am grateful beyond grateful.
We go back one more time this week to see if we can get another load of eggs before the weather shuts us down. Keep your fingers crossed!
