๐Ÿ“ˆ +15 lbs of muscle gained

โฌ†๏ธ +100 lbs to his Front Squat
โฌ†๏ธ +40 lbs to his Hang Clean
โฌ†๏ธ +90 lbs to his Bench Press

His advice:

โ€œCommit to it for 30 days. At minimum, youโ€™ll get to know the trainers and theyโ€™ll understand your goals. Stay consistent and the members will start pushing you too. After that, the hardest part of your workout is the drive to the gym. Once youโ€™re here, youโ€™ve got a team behind you.โ€

Squats โ€” all kinds. And okay, not technically a lift, but pushups too. Iโ€™ll complain about them, but Iโ€™ve worked really hard on my form and Iโ€™m proud of it (it took a long time!).

Iโ€™m stronger. Iโ€™m more consistent. My mindset has shifted to focusing on strength movements instead of just cardio. And now when someone compliments my shoulders, I take it as a huge win.

You might join to lose weight or get stronger โ€” or maybe a friend dragged you in โ€” but youโ€™ll leave with so much more. Iโ€™ve made lifelong friends here. We hold each other accountable and lift each other up (even when that means telling each other to stop sandbagging and go heavier).

Hometown: San Diego, CA

Coaching Background: Significant coaching experience in athletic strength training, group fitness and 1-on-1 personal training. Background in sports and college football.

Training Style (3 words): High-energy. Explosive. Technical.

Favorite Lifts to Coach: Deadlifts & Power Cleans.

What to Expect in His Classes: Big energy, real-time feedback, and a push to be better every session.

Outside the Gym: You will find me on a golf course or courtโ€ฆ or recovering at home.
