Another returning student finished up this week 🤗

It is incredible to see the growth from one summer to the next! Definitely makes me feel good when they don’t need me anymore, but makes me sad because I don’t get to see them everyday 😭💕

I love when “big kids” come back for a refresher before summer is in full swing!

This helps ensure they are confident before they go to all the swim parties. It’s especially important for the kids who don’t have the opportunity to practice in the off season.

So when people say ISR is just for babies…think again! If your 5 year old were to fall in fully clothed with shoes on, would they be strong enough AND confident enough to float/swim to safety?! THIS KID CAN 😍

One of the best parts of being an ISR instructor is seeing the confidence grow in my students!

Jumping in, going from totally vertical to a horizontal float, can be challenging but C made it look easy!!

I get asked often if putting your child in lessons sooner really makes a difference or not?

Well- the sooner the safer! BUT also, the child usually picks up on new skills faster and gets their confidence back in the water after just a week or two when they return for a new session.

This is Lottie’s 3rd summer in lessons. She started at 8 months just doing a roll back to float, then last year a tiny swim to float and now she is making strides and really swimming! 2 years old and making it look easy on week two back 🤩

Next week we will start her flip over and then she’ll be able to go all over the pool!

So does starting before they walk benefit them? I say, YES!

Week 2 for this returning swimmer!

Three years old and AMAZING 🤩 giving your child competence and confidence in the water is one of the most important things. I’m so thankful for the continued trust these parents have in me 🥰
