We’re excited to announce that our 2026 Summer Soccer Registration is now OPEN!
As mentioned earlier, if your athlete would like to remain on the same team, you may enter the team name in the “Team” section when completing the application. If new to the sport we will place the athlete’s in a team.

🦋 Today, students enjoyed a presentation from the National Butterfly Center and learned about the importance of pollinators, different butterflies, and the native plants that help them thrive in our area. They also discovered how these plants support bees, butterflies, and other wildlife. The fun continued with a hands-on butterfly craft activity! 🌿🐝💚

Good Morning, Parents and Community Members!

Soccer registration will begin next week. As many of you know, our park is currently undergoing renovations, and we are awaiting an estimated completion date.

Once we receive an update on the renovation timeline, we will share additional information regarding the start of practices and the upcoming season. At this time, we are tentatively planning for a mid-July start.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure our facilities are ready for a safe and successful season. We look forward to welcoming players back to the field and kicking off another great soccer season!

☀️ Summer Program Fun! ☀️

Our students had the opportunity to learn from two amazing presentations this week!

State Representative Oscar Longoria visited the Youth Center and shared what it means to serve as a State Representative. Students learned about how government works, the importance of leadership, and how they can make a difference in their communities.

We also welcomed the McDonald’s Play Van team, who spoke with students about the importance of being helpful, showing appreciation, treating others with respect, and valuing the people who love and care for us. The presentation was filled with fun activities, meaningful lessons, and great participation from our students!

A big thank you to both presenters for taking the time to inspire and educate our youth! ❤️🍟🏛️✨

On Friday, our students enjoyed a special presentation by M. Veloz about inclusion and the importance of friendship. 💙 They learned that our differences make us unique and that kindness and acceptance help everyone feel welcome. We kicked off summer with lots of creativity, teamwork, and fun! 🎨🌸 Students painted birdhouses, made crafts and pinwheels, built structures, played games, and made new friends along the way. With plenty of smiles and laughter, it’s been an amazing start to summer! 😎✨

We’re looking for an energetic and dependable Part-Time Coach to join our Parks & Recreation team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with youth, promoting teamwork, and creating a positive recreational environment.

Responsibilities:
Lead practices, drills, and recreational activities
Teach fundamentals, sportsmanship, and teamwork
Ensure participant safety and engagement
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and participants
Assist with game-day coordination and setup

Schedule:
Part-time hours based on program schedules and seasonal activities.
