Spring is just around the corner! Now is the perfect time to make sure your glider is ready for the flying season. Join us at Point of the Mountain for a weekend of next-level knowledge about your most important piece of equipment. Learn a simple way to check your glider's trim without the expensive laser measuring devices. This skill and understanding will last a lifetime! You'll fly with confidence knowing that your wing is safe and flying at its top-level performance.

This is a two day, hands-on workshop taught by APPI/USHPA Instructors; Blake Pelton & Dale Covington. It is classroom based, so rain or shine the entire syllabus will be covered! Appropriate for all free-flight and motor pilots.

February 4-5 at Point of the Mountain.
Cost is $150.

Wrapping up our Fall Tandem Instructor Clinic today. Like always, the attendees were made up of legendary pilots. Each of them stands as a unique and valuable asset to our sport and community.

It was a pleasure to work with all of you! I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of your flying adventure unfolds and I'm honored that you have allowed be to be a part of it!! Keep being awesome and I can't wait for the next time that we get to share some sky together.

Ever wanted to share the magic of flying? Becoming USHPA T3 Tandem Instructor is the best way to do just that! Here's your chance to get started on the most critical parts of that journey

There's only a few spots left in our next three-day tandem course happening September 16-18 at Point of the Mountain in Draper, Utah.

Some of the key topics we'll cover
--> Entire USHPA T3 curriculum
--> In depth and on-site skills exorcises.
--> Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI)
--> Safe high-wind/no-wind launch techniques
--> Student relations and service skills
--> Photo/video capture techniques
--> Ways to make yourself employable
--> Mentality of a world-class tandem pilot
--> ...and much, much more!

- Open to aspiring T3 pilots as well as those with existing T3 ratings that are interested in taking their tandem skills to the next level.
- To apply for this course, please submit your flying resume to [email protected]. Your resume should contain: the highlights of your flying career; years flying, aprox number of flights/hours, ratings, who was your instructors, what you hope to do with your T3 rating, any continued education like SIV, XC clinics, etc plus anything else that you think might be pertinent. Not all that apply will necessarily be accepted.
- Cost is $550 per participant.
