Since The Beast won and defended the bowling balls for another month, We will be giving a ball away to one of the bowlers that was in yesterday's side pot. The winner will take home their choice between the Brunswick Danger Zone or Hammer Hammerhead Pearl bowling ball. If the winner is Orange County local, a delivery could possibly be arranged. Congratulations going out to Daniel Munoz, capturing his 1st Beast Eliminator title!! With the title came the 1st place prize of $800, a custom jersey from sponsor Strike 12 Creations, and a match with Marcus "The Beast" Battiest for a Brunswick bowling ball. The Beast doubled in the 10th to win the match 234-227. A ball will be raffled off between bowlers that were in the side pot next week. Congratulations to runner-up Michael Marmolejo who took home $500. We had another great tournament with 117 bowlers. In total pots, places, and brackets we had an awesome prize fund of over $11,000! Thanks to all the bowlers and spectators for coming out and making another great event. Thanks to host center LH300, my wife Jenn for running score tabulation, Ed Saleh for running brackets and Ken Maxey Jr for running lane assignments. In 24 hours, we will crown our fourth Eliminator champion of 2026. We are currently at 125 pre-registers. Direct message Marcus Battiest if you want one of the few remaining spots. Bowlers that do not have a spot in the morning that are still wanting to bowl can come in early and get a walk-in ticket. As always there should be a small number of drops (people that don't show) on tournament day. The number of no-shows ranges from 6 to 12. Bowlers wanting to participate in the tournament this Sunday via a walk-in, the following is recommended:
*Show up around 815am on Sunday (we will be opening check-in around 820)
* Go to the front of the line and request a numbered walk-in ticket.
*Walk-ins can join the pre-registered line at 930 am and will be
given a place to the event in numbered order should any spots become available.
*The check-in line for pre-registered bowlers is open from 825am-930am.
*Pre-registered bowlers that are not in line by 930am forfeit their place and will be checked in with all bowlers in order (till we fill 128). If you are pre registered, please be on time so you don't lose your place (arriving after 930 am will run you this risk).
If you are new to the tournament make sure to bring your USBC card/number for average verification. Message Marcus Battiest if you have any questions or if you are a pre-register that is not going to make it tomorrow (so I can open spots up for any waitlist bowlers).
*I will usually be asleep by 10 pm the night before a tournament so messages and emails will probably not be answered after that time. Notifying us that you aren't bowling after 5pm today will not be considered proper notification for waitlist bowlers and will cause said bowlers to be added to a running list we have. Bowlers on that list with this repeated behavior may lose their ability to pre-register for future events. Have a great day and we'll see you tomorrow for TBE event #4! 🙂 See less

After April's Eliminator, we have a total of two names that have been thrown in the hat for the end of the year cash awards. We have 2 separate drawings for members that support our amazing sponsors, each worth at least $250 apiece. Remember, there are two ways members can get in these drawings. New updated schedule for the 2026 year. We moved July's tournament up a week, and August's event back a week to fit another tournament in between. We will still have 12 tournaments this year :) We've updated the events page and website as well. Thank you for everyone's understanding of the decision and pivots that have been made. Pre-registration for May 31st's event will open on Monday, the 4th. See you then :)
