Working with a student on a few swing corrections

Fixing the inside takeaway, it’s now straighter. Because of his inside takeaway, he had to do a big move around his body to square the face. Now, we have him slotted and using the ground. Better arm position and ground force production has his swing looking great 💪🏼💪🏼

Expectations vs Reality

Managing the reality of your shots vs the expectations leads you to make better in course decisions that benefit your game.

In this example I hit a 250 yard drive when I expected a further shot on this 500 yard par 5. Managing my second shot and so on will determine the scoring opportunity of this hole.

Dialing in your putting to build confidence on the course can lead you to ultimately start building a better golf game…

Good putters only mark ONCE! Dialing your putting to the point that you putt out on every hole instead have facing a scary 4 footer will benefit your mental game on the course.

1v1 closest to the pin vs 이동은

Am I losing my touch!? 🤣🤔 … it was on purpose. Working with Dongeun Lee during the KPMG tournament this year was a lot of fun. So amazing to watch her have a great week competing!!

Getting some swings in with a new wedge! Nothin better than some fresh grooves to hit spinners!

Practicing chipping with a lower lofted club WITH an open face is one of the hardest things to learn, but it will help once mastered!

One of the best practice drills: lower loft, slightly open face. It helps you control strike, trajectory, and rollout with less effort.

Keys to hitting great downhill shots!

One of the biggest mistakes on downhill lies is setting up as if the ground is level. Instead, match your shoulders, hips, and spine angle to the slope. Keep pressure favoring your lead side and allow your swing to follow the incline. Trying to stay level often leads to thin or heavy contact because the club no longer matches the angle of the ground.

DONT ANSWER THE PHONE!!!

Avoid letting your right shoulder climb toward your ear. Keeping the shoulder down helps maintain posture, improve rotation, and create a more efficient swing.

Amateurs over-bend the trail arm. Professionals maintain width. Less bend creates a more connected backswing, better structure, and a more repeatable downswing.
