It was the ‘guys’ versus the ‘gals’ at Thursday’s Clay Days! Jay kept us honest and he thought the guys were in trouble for a while! But the fellows did triumph on this day. The girls will be back to challenge them again.
Come out on Thursday mornings to join in the fun at Clay Days. Shoot any of the clay target games.

Come Shoot some steel!

Monday was a great day to go Easter Egg “Hunting” at the gun range. Twelve shooters gathered in Pistol Bay 2 with their favorite 22 caliber rifles to see how many confetti eggs they could explode at 45 yards. If you hit them and the bullet went thru without exploding the egg - it didn’t count! Then we moved to pistols to see how many eggs we could hit in 15 seconds.

Mick Sterling took top honors in the rifle competition and Lisa Whitley edged out her husband Pete in a shoot off for the title in the pistol competition.

The event was well orchestrated by Dan Keierleber and Gay Herold. Many thanks to them for putting on this monthly “Fun Shoot”! The next one is scheduled for the first Monday in May - May 4th. Put it on your calendar and join the fun.

Great News from the range!
The Rifle Range may be Hot, the weather has cooled off just a bit. Come out tomorrow (Saturday) for a fun day at FCGC!. All the Pistol and Rifle ranges are OPEN. And of course there will be plenty of clay pigeons flying.

Hats off and many thanks to Michael Earnst, Bill Paulus, Craig Oltmann, Don Sims, Randy Haechten, Jay Loveless, Robert Huckaby and Jason Jecmenek for the planning and HARD WORK that has gone into updating Berms on Bays #1 & #2 and the Rifle Range. Bays #3 & #4 still need some attention, that work will begin in a few weeks. Next time you see any of these guys, give 'em a big THANK YOU.
