Work Parties at Meacham Divide!

Greetings Blue Mountain Divide Skiers and Snowshoers,

It’s time to get the trails ready for the 2025/26 season. We’re having a work party this Saturday, October 18th at the Meacham Divide Ski Area. Stay for an hour or all day - any help is appreciated!

Here’s what you need to know:

Meet at 9 a.m. at the Meacham Divide parking lot on Mt. Emily Summit Road.

Bring a lunch or snacks/water/work gloves/loppers if you have some. We also have several pairs, so no worries if you don’t have any with you.

Also (or instead), if you can help with our NEW SNOWSHOE TRAIL(!) on Friday 10/17, please message me.

Thank you. We appreciate and rely on our volunteers!

All trails, except I Scream, were groomed today by Mike and Bruce (thanks guys!)

The road is a little squirrelly as it has about 3-4" of wet heavy snow we'll try to get it plowed tomorrow.

Fall is here, and it’s time to get the trails ready for the 2023/24 season. Can you help? We’re having a work party on Saturday, October 21st at the Meacham Divide Ski Area.

Here’s what you need to know:

The road was plowed yesterday for the last time as we have spent all money in contract. Pendleton Plunge and Kansas were groomed today. This will be our last grooming of the season (Thank you groomers!)

The skiing on the groomed trails is really good as there was 6-8" of new snow since last grooming. Tomorrow might be a good day to ski as well. Nothing beyond base of Moosehuff Hill was groomed.

Mike reports that the road has been plowed and he has groomed everything but Butcher, Tillicum, and Quarry. Thanks Mike!

This season of the Blue Mountain Youth Nordic Club was a huge success, thanks to the fearless group leaders. Will Anderson created this video to thank the grooming crew who worked hard to keep the trails in shape for these kids at Meacham Divide this winter.

Also, come join us today at Meacham Divide for a tour with the Jr Nordic Program. We’ll have some food, snacks and hot beverages from 4-6 pm.

Road is not plowed. Not enough snow depth to need plowing. Tracks of vehicles are packing the road
