Last night, nearly 300 members of our growing hockey family gathered at Green Island Ice Arena to celebrate the end of an incredible season. 🏒🔥

We also took a moment to recognize our outgoing President, Matt Hansen, and thank him for the tremendous leadership he’s given River City Youth Hockey. Matt played a pivotal role in saving Green Island and keeping youth hockey alive in La Crosse.

To show our appreciation, we presented Matt with a framed Flames jersey with Hansen 84 on the back. 1984 is the year RCYH was founded, and thanks to Matt’s leadership and partnership with so many dedicated parent volunteers, our association is not only still here, it’s growing and thriving.

Thank you for everything you’ve given to this community, Matt. We’re incredibly grateful and promise to make you proud in the years to come!

Congratulations to our La Crosse Flames Bantams 14U team on an incredible season, culminating with a hard fought match in the WAHA State Tournament Championship game. Although they didn’t take home the final win, we couldn’t be more proud of these boys. Go Flames! 🔥
